Experimenting with how much difference a new board can make on one of the cheapest printers on the market. Sneak peak of my BLV MGM Cube also appears in this video ...
Hello! The plastic connector on my AM8 just melted on my mainboard. I wanted to use my 3D printer for work related projects. I did research on various of motherboards and am leaning towards this one. Since ill be using my printer for work, I might as well invest in quality parts. Ill be pretty much rebuilding my rig to 24V and a Chimera dual extruder. Do you have any tips for wiring this mainboard up? Thanks.
Just be sure to follow the documentation on the site and you will be golden. I’d advise use of a mosfet for the heatbed and build in extra safety where possible
So I have an anet a8 and I have upgraded the board to duet wifi as well. But my motors are making grinding noises when they move, on all axis. I was wondering if you might have ran into the same problem?
It sounds like you may have to check the wiring of your steppers. Some of the pins may be in the wrong order inside the connectors. Did you re-wire the connectors to match the dupont style on the Duet? I didn't have any issues with this other than needing to change the direction of the X axis in the Duet config.g
You should upload your config file, or post a how to video

@@ColeRussellMorgan Did you use the stock wiring for the hotbed?
Do you have an video when setup the duet ?
I don't - there's a lot of great videos out there for the setup. Sorry!
Can you publish/share your config?
Gamming Channel I’ll have to see if I can dig it up. I used the reprap config tool online. configtool.reprapfirmware.org/
I just notice that you have badly assembled e3d.
It may cause this stringing what you're having.
ArmaToniX yeah this is a really poor quality clone and it's bent.
