One thing I love to do is pitch shifting the rain and water sounds down between 1 and 2 octaves and add a bitcrusher. You get a nice and unique atmosphere for intros
yeah this really is a thing that I think all producers should use more often. lots of rookies end up super empty and dry mixes, which can easily be fixed through ambiance
Bro, I admire you very much, thanks to you I started doing Lofi and thanks to you I started to like doing and listening to Lofi. I love your beats, your videos and your content inspire me a lot!
Cool video and I grabbed the pack. Thank you for sharing that. The Lightpad Block M SE is cool travel tech. Enjoy your vacation. Hope you and everyone here in the community stay well and have a fun, safe weekend.
In my song chai tea on Spotify i added foley to get a lo fi feel and people either love it or hate it, I had pouring sounds and tea stirring. I just think it makes it so much more interesting and gives a warm feeling 💕 great video!!
Wow this is amazing!!! Thank you 😊 I made my first lofi track yesterday using some of your previous advice!! And I recorded my own ambience noises haha. This is perfect!!
JPEGMAFIA actually used fire sound effects in his DOTS Freestyle track, he said it kinda fills up the frequencies and makes the beat feel more full. He was like my first introduction to the technique.
video production value said stonks (i always loved his videos but this one just seemed a lot more professional lmfao not saying its a good or bad thing still love it nonetheless)
hey L Dre, loving this track and wanted to ask if you have tips on how you did the sub bass? i see most folks follow the chord, but i'd like to know more about how to make it more of a melody. any suggestions on vsts or sample settings for subs in lo-fi? duno why i might be overthinking this part of the track, but anyway much respect and thank you infinite for all you do
Or/And you can do what • do and get a field recorder and make your own unique ambiance libraries. You’ll get some funny looks when you’re recording a populated location but it’s way worth it. Just knowing you’re the only person in the world with a said pristine recording is a great feeling. Especially living in a digitally replicated music world.
i would recommend watching andrew huangs “learn music theory in thirty minutes” video. if you need free plugins i would recommend iota mini, izotope vinyl, and free reddit drum kits.

Hey I also wanted to say how you totally solved my problem--or at least put me in position to make the best lofi that I can.
The pack looks great. I’m just suspicious of free.
What type of launchpad is that that small one called
I named this title 😤
What’s that little drum pad called? I want one!!
Here’s an instrument choice:
Mayonnaise

What is needed equipment wise to make lofi music
This is track is killer, what did you use for the chords and the drums?
Thanks fam I just downloaded vintage and life recordings but how do I.pull it up in reason?
Just found this, what do Cakewalk users put the Life pack at in the DAW? And what player do I need to use the sounds?
This video is just for Fre to flex on us with his Roli gear
Do u have any recommendations for someone who doesn’t know how to use any instruments? Like I don’t wanna use loops and samples all the time
i would recommend watching andrew huangs “learn music theory in thirty minutes” video. if you need free plugins i would recommend iota mini, izotope vinyl, and free reddit drum kits.
Hey L.Dre ever since you made the spongebob song I was wondering if you could do a squidward songs that has a clarinet solo
