You've got to love unconditionally, when you truly love someone. They can get on your nerves...etc. there's not one person in this world that you will like EVERYTHING they do... sometimes we also have to let people go because YOU are also important. That doesn't mean you don't love them... but sometimes an individual is not good for you... it's a tough reality, but people misunderstand that LOVE has different meanings depending on who you ask and what their vision of love is based on experiences in life and hmm even social media.... the love I know is God's love. The love I want is God's love. That's that good good love. Well like an hour ago I ended a 2.5 years long "relationship" because it was time to move on. I couldn't get to where I wanted in life knowing he wanted me here but we didn't want to fully commit and I don't like hurting feelings. It's one of those hard lessons to learn because my mom has been telling me to put myself first, although she was referring to family matters, I believe it applies to that situation as well. And I haven't. But I will.

I dont care what anyone says, love should not hurt you, at all. love should feel good and light. To me, love is a reward for all the pain you've experienced in life, it shouldn't bring you more pain ❤🏵
I learned that just because you have never been in love isn't such a bad thing or something to be jealous about when observed through others. It is just the universe protecting you from some foolishness that you may recieve just because you crave wanting. Just chill and enjoy yourself while you are by yourself becauase you came in the world as an individual and you will leave as one. Love will come when it needs to and you will be prepared by recognizing love within yourself for yourself.

sweethartia Thanks I try to let everyone have access to this information, what they do with it is up to them. Alot of people think they want to be in a relationship when in actuality they want the idea of being in a relationship. For so much of our lives when you reach a certain age it is as if we are marginalized if we are not in a relationship but when you do get in a serious relationship people want to be negative. I just deem in best not to adhere to these ideals at all and just enjoy my individuality.

I've learned that love isn't a feeling, it's an action. The best model of true love is God because God is love. God didn't just feel in love with us, he demonstrated it by sensing his son Jesus to die for us. Then Jesus died for us even though he was sinless and didn't deserve it but we are sinful and we do. Well Bri, I've experience love in many different ways, but self love is very important before any other kind of true love to take place. Once you experience your first heartbreak, taking the time to figure yourself out and loving yourself is key to a successful relationship in the future. You must know how important you are, you must know what you want and what you do not want. I feel that from my own experience, my first heartbreak made me experience life by myself and figure out who I was, so I could avoid toxic relationships. Love is beautiful, God is Love so Love does not hurt. Love is unconditional. I now love myself unconditionally, so now I know how to love unconditionally & what unconditional love feels like. ❤️

I've had my love taken advantage of and abused by the person I loved so much.. But it still took all the strength in me to finally let him go. One thing I've learned about love is that it doesn't die. If it is truly real and genuine it can't die. I went through a breakup in the beginning of the year. I'm currently in a relationship of 3 years. And the one thing I learned from my partner is how to love myself more. Which I never knew would be possible. He has taught me that with makeup, without makeup, with weave, without weave. In a bad ass mood he has always assured me that he is here to stay. Even the days in the beginning when you unconsciously push people away He didn't budge. That's one thing I will share with people who don't believe love that exists in 2017. There are people in this world that come in your life to love you through your pain. He shows me how a man is supposed to treat and honor his woman and vice versa. love is always forever within you, and its great when someone comes by to be the catalyst to allow you to see how open your heart can be. the type of love that you give to yourself and everyone else. "love" is mutually exclusive from relationships, but relationships serve as a great opportunity for growth and seeing what triggers you and why. finding a loving mutual connection/partnership is a unique flavor of love, but it is not love itself. you do not "seek" love, it is already within you, ready to burst you and come in different forms, whether an openness to communicate with strangers or a kiss on a partner's cheek.

BRIIII!!!! I have found that falling in love with yourself is probably one of the hardest things to do because we are expected not to. We are expected to wait until others fall in love with so that we may know that we are loveable that we have the capacity to be loved. Having that love for yourself without earthly attachment to things but just genuinely wanting the best for ourselves and knowing our worth is one of the greatest things to experience. I've gotten a taste of that before once when I was younger (I'm not old lol I'm only 20) and I'd like to experience that again. I try to take my worth from the Creator. Also I think the one thing I have learned about love is loving someone who comes from a loveless home they tend to push people away quicker than sand, everyone is replaceable. I was that loveless person until I actually started to love myself and that allowed me to create real bonds with care compassion and all things in correlation to love.
The greatest lesson I learned about love was that it isn't perfect. It isn't planned and it isn't always healthy. Loving someone else taught me how to love myself first because if you don't loving the wrong person can destroy you.
Because none from people that I loved, has loved me back, I hated myself so much & I waited from everybody to love me as I love them. you can know how much this is so bad but after a real struggle I started feel good about myself I fell alone and I got up alone no one has helped me even those that I called my family but myself in worst moment in my life and it really deserves to be loved by me more than anyone.

I recently got my heart broken (over and over and over) by a person I would have given my whole life to. What I learned from falling in love is that it is the scariest thing in the world, and that it is the most different from any other form of love I have ever felt. I'm in a state of limbo myself. I remember the good times and they only contribute to how bad I feel now that he's gone. And trying to come to peace with the whole of our relationship (the memories, the feelings, the loss) and trying to see it as a good thing in my life, rather than something that left me in pain is hard. I loved being in love, but I hated the aftermath. What I took from all of this, or rather what I'm trying to take from all of this, is that just because your love isn't reciprocated the way you wished it was, doesn't mean that there's something wrong with you or what you have to offer. And that love is work, whether you're in it, or after it.

Love is awesome but never downplay who you are for a person who claims to love you but doesn't show you in actions. I've truly been in love once and have yet to experience the feeling again. My trust was broken and it was hard to overcome it. Fast forward to having a child with someone who I thought was the one for me only to find out that he was not. Potential is just that. It may never become more than that.

Love is confusing. People say it all the time but it doesn't show in there actions. I feel love is used against you so much. Especially in relationships or with family. Someone is always quick to say well if you love me you will be there for me or if you love me you'd do this favor for me etc. Love is selfishly used by people to get what they want. I was in a 5 year relationship he claimed he loved me so much but it didnt show in his actions and even more so after we are expecting our first child, where is his love now, literally no where he's just gone. I believe there is a right kind of love and a wrong kind of love most people arent mature enough to handle and bare the meaning of love,let along express it.
