Huh many of those pics are not boring, even subjectively theyre not. Unless youre saying boring as in just a portrait sure, but images with any action are usually pretty hard.
AI art currently faces a challenging perception in society. My community mainly consists of Stable Diffusion users, and we are often depicted as only creating waifus or explicit content. My intention was not to dismiss portrait images in general. You are right, portraits can be amazing. My point was to highlight that Stable Diffusion and AI art are capable of so much more. The purpose was to showcase the broader potential and versatility of AI art beyond just portraits.
Ai "Artists"?????
Personally, I prefer AI generated images more than drawings. They have more quality and can be easily adapted to whatever style you want to.
But I know you're talking about the effort. It's true that doing AI images needs less effort than painting or drawing, but it has a process you must follow and can take you even 6 hours to do a decent image.
It's not like you ask to the model and it will give you all, perfectly done. No no, it's a long and boring process using Photoshop (for example), creating the best prompt from hundreds of ways to describe the same thing, selecting the correct model for that specific part you want.
Is it easier than painting and drawing? Yes it is.
Does that mean you can't be an Ai Artist? Nope. Doing more effort does not make a better artist, get that wrong idea out of your head.
Thank you for your comment! I understand that the term "AI artist" can be controversial. Perhaps "AI art creator" or "AI art conductor" might be more fitting. The field is evolving, and so is the language we use to describe it. I'm open to suggestions and happy to discuss further!
@@surecreations5001 It's not about effort. Me as an artist can tell easily what is AI and what is not. Generative pictures will be soon known as trash art, it is the same with everything that is massive production for example tv series. Human can do AI artstyle, but AI cannot do Human Art. Do you know what composition is? or story telling? or do you know at least basics of lighting? If not, I can tell why you like AI art, because you're amateur (no offense).
@@AIKnowledge2Go AI user I'd say (it's like oven user, or toilet user), do you heard sth about AI code creator? (Programmer using AI to create code) - of course no. You cannot be any creator if you're just generating and call it a day. It's fine using AI only to generate many ideas fast, but you cannot use it for final proffesional work, because it's no more proffesional.

However, I believe the boundaries between AI and human-created art might blur over time, especially as tools like Photoshop's generative fill become more integrated into the creative process. Many skilled artists I know use these tools regularly and still produce work that is widely recognized as true art.
Ultimately, I think AI can be a valuable tool in the hands of a talented artist, enhancing rather than diminishing their work. The core of art-storytelling, composition, and emotional impact-will always rely on human creativity and insight.
