- Yes, we where a bit skeptical at first, An underwater housing which is under 300 bucks. This can only go bad but after 6 dives with paper inside the housing we finally had the courage to put our camera in. Hi! Thanks for making this video. How has the new housing been holding up? As issues with flooding or otherwise?
The question is whether it's worth buying a housing at all for the m50. In other words does the m50 perform good enough in low light = underwater
with the right lens it it will be good enough for low light. Almost as good as with the Sony A6X00 models. Too bad the M50 cases cost so damn much more!!

Is there any vignetting with the dome port with your lens at full wide?
Hello mate, do you think the Sony 5100 is a good choice to start in underwater recording? I want a camera for Vlogs and underwater recording that won't go out of price. Can you recommend one? Thank you very much.
I would go for the a6000 which will also fit this housing and has better specs overall. I think if it's in your budget it will last you longer.
Hi! Great review. I am looking to buy this product with flat port only. It is compatibile with mediocre 10-18mm Sony lens but I would like to know whether it would be compatobile with superb 10-20mm lens. They have the same diameter but is 1cm shorter. The problem could be that the gear for zoom control migt be located improperly. Do you happen to use that Sony 10-20mm with this housing. Can you tell me how deep the zoom gear inside the housing is located and how deep the gears are?

Vacuum pump...? Ik zou denken dat je juist een overdruk moet zien te creëren om het water buiten te houden (?) Of is het om de drijfkracht te verminderen?

Hey Wim! Met de vacuum pomp kun je voor de duik controleren of het huis correct is afgesloten. Helaas wil het nog wel eens gebeuren dat er een haar of wat zand tussen de o-ring komt en het huis begint te lekken. Wanneer je dit controleert door het huis vacuum te trekken voor je duik vind je het lek voordat je het water in gaat. Onderwater is het huis dan ook niet vacuum getrokken. Hoe is het bij jullie? Liggen jullie ook vast vanwege het virus?

That project has been sidelined for now since one of the crew members is off the boat, so we decided to focus on 50ft Below for now. At the moment we are working on a new video series involving the trip with the sailboat and it involves a lot of diving as well.

Hoi. I see at 4:00 that you use a spacer between housing and tray in order to fit the dome. Is that right?
I have a housing for an Olympus TG5 camera, but the dome won't fit when the housing is on the tray. Unless I turn the tray handles and the housing by 180º, but that's not how the tray system is supposed to be. If you use a spacer, would you know where I can find it?
