      @MontgomeryHeartWellness this is an amazing patient outcome. I am new to your channel. I was recently diagnosed with Afib and the cardiologist immediately prescribed Eliquis. I am 55 yrs old with a lot of living to do. That said, could I benefit from the program and reverse the Afib? God bless & I appreciate your response.

    A 20% ef doesn't sound like the heart failure is gone. I have full Time AFib, a leaky valve and was also diagnosed with heart failure with an ef of 35%. In 2019 I was diagnosed with non alcoholic fatty liver disease with non alcoholic steatohepatitis and F3-F4 fibrosis. I changed my diet to low carb high fat and began losing weight, and in 6 months was able to resume exercising. Today my liver disease is resolved as confirmed by a recent fibroscan and my ef has improved to 60% as confirmed by a recent echocardiogram. Normal. I have no clinical signs of heart failure. All of this was accomplished without any medications, only lifestyle changes. This is what I call real recovery. We need animal fat and protein, and the fruit/veggie diet, while better than the standard American diet in many ways, isn't enough to sustain long term recovery and health without them. Oh, BTW, I am 76 years old, stronger and healthier than I have been in decades.

      I can attest to this. I have CAD with complete LBBB. First heart attack was April 2023. I went LCHF high protein. No sweet fruits even.. Lots of green leafy veggies & mushrooms. Herbs & spices as my tea NO sweetener. I did not buy a single prescription. I am back to work now. Mild tachycardia from time to time BUT LBBB gone. I can now exercise. Note, I RARELY ATE BEEF, PORK & EGGS PRIOR TO HEART ATTACK. But I ate lots of fastfood, rice, bread, pasta, pancit, noodles. Lots of fried foods. Sedentary life style.
      Now I eat a kilo of pork & kilo of beef and 1 dozen eggs weekly.
      Green leafy veggies cooked in butter. ULTRA PROCESSED FOODS & DRINKS REMOVED.

      Great result but we do not require animal fat and animal protein will actually damage the endothelia if you already have a disease process. I am a hunter of meat but I also have read enough of the metta analysis to understand the mechanism behind CDV.

    10% increase in the EF in only a month is incredible. I'm sure if the patient continues with this regimen, her heart EF will be in the normal range in a very short period of time.

    Finally! A doctor that tries to address the root cause of the issue and not just treat the symptoms. It is refreshing to see a doctor that goes for the cause of the problem, eating, weight/obesity, smoking, lack of exercise etc... and try to address that in order to get a good outcome. Too many times I see doctors just prescribing medicines that deal with the symptoms and do nothing to address the root part of the problem. Inevitably the medicines that end up creating more issues because of all the side effects and then the doctors just prescribe more medicines to address the new symptoms... This eventually slowly kills the patient.

    • @ava.artemis
      @ava.artemis 7 місяців тому +8

      So if you go look at the study, what they called intermittent fasting was just skipping breakfast. So this could include someone who weighs 400 lbs and eats nothing but junk food and just doesn’t eat breakfast because they don’t feel like it. While this may technically could be called IF, it also doesn’t account for countless other factors, so it doesn’t prove cause and effect. This is how the public perception of science is constantly twisted because we don’t understand how the set-up of a study and how the results are communicated can be and usually are totally twisted.

    Amazing news! In 2016 I suffered a traumatic event during my pregnancy and then I was diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy after i had my son. I was also at ten percent ejection fraction. I went plant based and made it back up to 45. A few years later after major stress and eating not as healthy again my ef was starting to decline. I'm back to wfpb and this time I'm staying on track. @@ClayTallStories I agree, my family laugh at me but I think it depends on your blood group, people who are blood group A or AB do best with plant based diet, and people with blood group O do best with keto and carnivore diet, that’s why there is so much confusion out there, unfortunately it takes years through trial and error for most people to learn what’s best for them as individuals. Your blood group influences your enzymes in your gut biome. Someday science will figure this out.

    As a functional medicine practitioner with some 30 years in healthcare I have recommended the Dr. Stephen Sinatra protocol for ejection fraction improvements in patients with heart failure. The combo is - CoQ10, L-Carnitine, Creatine, and D-Ribose and this protocol has been proven effective in clinical trials. Check with your physician to see if you may be a good candidate for this. Best of luck.

    I'm sorry, this is the very first video from this channel that i ever watch and i'm noticing several things right off the bat.
    There are a lot of claims made in this video but no proof for any of them.
    A lot of numbers mentioned about improvements for this and for that but we don't see the actual patient they are referring to a single time throughout the video.
    We see several clips of stock footage probably purchased from a stock footage library.
    We see two people dressed as doctors having a conversation and throwing numbers and talking about a supposed patient.
    This whole thing could literally be staged and scripted and those two "doctors" could simply be actors and this whole channel could be nothing more than people advertising the vegan life style.
    No i will not go and watch any of the other videos this channel has to offer because the first video feels like a serious let down and gives me no reason to want to check out the rest.
    It feels like an attempt at manipulating people.

    Thanks for this helpful information, however do you believe that this dietary program for the heart is also good for a person with hypertension?

  • @patriciao5239
    @patriciao5239 8 місяців тому +1

    Interesting case. Would be more helpful to know how the various elements of her diet were thought to help partially restore her heart function & what her 5 meds were, whether all were stopped at once or in what sequence. Maybe she was on inappropriate meds/doses and that was causing some of her issues (independent of diet, inflammation).
    Sounds like she had a ton of fluid in her legs etc upon discharge from the hospital. Did they overload her (easy with EF of 10%, especially if salty diet) and discharge her prematurely?

      @@thomasw911 That's a good thing but you may want to think about increasing your dosage to A 90,000 heat units, instead of the cayenne you buy off the grocery shelf, which is only about 30,000 heat units. You may also want to pick up this book called left for dead by Dick Quinn. It's a bit dated, but the information is relevant. I follow his protocol. I have two blockages in my LAD.

    My husband went on a whole food plant based diet and the intent was to go no oil. He sometimes cooks with vegan butter and still has nuts occasionally. His cholesterol improved but EF went down a few points:(. Could the vegan butter and nuts be affecting him? We don’t do raw vegan, unless it’s a salad or fruits.
