After completing the original mission with S rank and all tasks, I was so glad I never had to replay it again. Then I discover you have to do it again, but on a harder difficulty, I sat in silence for about 30 seconds. This mission has given me cancer guys.
I agree with you guys.the fact that you have to go around blowing up tanks and choppers extracting them,then fultoning prisoners and to put more pressure on top of all that you have only 15 mins to complete.for me this mission is stressing and terrible
Definitely the hardest mission, don’t compare this to a quiet exist which can be done easily with parasite armor and always s rank, here you have time, you get bugs, you have to repeat the mission so many times, this is by far the hardest mission
This mission is the last S rank I need. But with "A Quiet Exit" the hard part is preventing Quiet from blowing up too many vehicles with her .50 cal, or taking any damage. (I got the S rank no problem). I'm constantly battling with getting the CGM-25 to lock on the helo before it manages to hit her. And on several runs now, she blows up an APC as I get to it for extraction! 😭 It's the fact these issues come up late in that mission which is annoying, like with other irritating missions. Still...I have the S rank on that mission so I'll probably resort to GMP-based pay-2-win to get the last tasks done.
... That wasn't too bad, actually. While I DID bring the Infinity Headband (I've already S-ranked every mission, I just need the tasks) and a 7-Star 'FB MR R-L MK-2', I did the mission almost exactly like Kiwi did, with some minor differences here and there due to getting spotted and whatnot. Got everything in one try.
Love the guides man! Getting closer to platinum thanks to you. Although I tried your method and failed miserably thanks to some guards coming up from under the bridge near the last two trucks, lmao.. was so pissed, I decided to replay the mission three times and focus on smaller objectives. 1) Get S-Rank with phantom cigar trick, extract one vehicle - hide - use cigar - exit hot zone 2) Extract all vehicles and tanks / destroy gunship. 3) Destroy one vehicle and focus on prisoners and guards roaming about. It was easier and better for my mental health and anxiety

I saw a PowerPyx guideon this mission, place an armoured vehicle at the northern exit and wait for the vehicles to pass and from there you can extract all 7 without ever engaging in combat.
yea this is the best way to get most of the mission tasks very easily, the only ones that would be missing are the 2 prisoner-related tasks (which you can easily obtain in a second playthrough)
The soldiers chasing the first prisoner won't actually kill him until you get close. I extract every armored vehicle, including the tanks. Once the chopper is flying around alone I then head where the prisoner is and just shot to the air the keep the guards distracted. So, if you start at the northest point, you can manage to extract everything/everyone and pull a perfect stealh/no kills :D Another trick I learned in this mission: leaving d-horse in the way will make vehicles to stop and boo him and that's ok , but if you leave d-horse facing in the opposite direction the vehicle is going, it'll take twice the time to get off the road. This is particularly usefull when there are two vehicles together.

Goddamn this mission to hell , I was doing brilliantly but setting off that alarm where you shoot the helicopter is crucial, I got in got the prisoner got out no alerts. Then the helicopter just drives straight over me, this happened 5-6 times, I gotta take a break having to start over completely and not be able to make one mistake for the first 3/4 of the mission has done my head in, I'm about to smash my ps4 so like I said goddamn it. Give me an extreme stealth mission any day over this one.
+tim lee Once you did all tasks with a time limit (extracting the prisoner being hunted by the 4 soldiers and eliminating all tanks until the time limit stops), just get to an open space and wait for the gunship to get in range for the rocketlauncher you picked up from the truck, 200m I think. If it didn't spot you until you shoot, you should be able to destroy it with 2 Rockets without it being able to attack you even once. After that it should be easy to extract the 3 tanks and the remaining prisoners.
I did everything. Then, when I ran to extract the final tank, D-Horse got in my way and we both got blown up... *cries silently in the corner of the room*

I think you have to destroy or extract the truck and the car with the prisoner as well as all the armored vehicles to spawn that stuff. I had an issue where I extracted the truck, all the armored vehicles and the prisoner, but because I scooped the prisoner out of the car and let the car itself get away, one of the tanks didn't spawn.
“I am going to be showing you locations on the map.” Proceeds to talk for another minute without showing map. Then opens map for about a split second not even long enough to pause.
This mission is one of the most difficult in the game to complete all the objectives in S rank. Congratulations to Kiwi for the choice of priorities and routes. It's almost impossible to find on your own without a very good experience of the game. You must not use D-Dog and the jeep otherwise you are limited in A rank max. D-Horse is essential for this timed mission. By starting the mission at night (18:00), we are less bothered by the guards at the barracks. I didn't use the grenades but the stun arm of Boss to quickly neutralize the 4 soldiers looking for the prisoner (range 45m / beware of the last one who's staying behind sometimes, it is imperative to extract them so as not to find them on the way to the back to the barracks), to neutralize the guards of the prisoners held in the Lamar Khaate palace and in the Wach Sind barracks (much more effective). Sleeping mines are not effective against the truck. It is not necessary to destroy the second armored vehicle, you can run faster with D-Horse by the right hand side and extract it at the exit of the northern supply outpost with the other one just following. You must use 8 EMN 5* mines (effect too long in 6*) for all vehicles. Placing D-Horse in the middle of the road with a mine after in case of failure is a good way to save mines for mining vehicles. Thanks to Kiwi for making this video. It will take you several attempts before to find the right tempo and routes with D-Horse to avoid alerts (he is very vulnerable to attacks). 😉
I tried this a bunch of times using your method and got to the point of the tanks and helicopter showing up on one attempt...but every other time, regardless of time of day, I had soldiers spawn in front of the fort and spot me every single time. After many, many failed attempts I finally took another commenter's advice and just hung out near the north exit to extract all vehicles before taking out the tanks and helicopter as I moved towards them. Theoretically I could have still gotten the prisoners on that run, but I did not want to start over again and lose my progress. So prisoners will be done in a separate run and I will simply ignore the majority of the vehicles at that time.
I FINISHED THE FUCKING MAIN OBJECTIVES AND I DIDNT GET EVEN ONE CHECKPOINT???!!!! FUCK THIS GAME! A TANK BLEW ME TO BITS AND IT PUTS ME FROM THE BEGINING!
I also highly recommend to use the parasite suite with mist. You pretty much don't get spotted, if you keep a bit of distance, Example: The prisoner in the mountain. The 4 soldiers following him, I was riding right past them, with about 15 meters distance. No altert. All they might have heard was a ghost 😅 Just make sure to use your night vision googles or you wont see anything too ;) You get 4 mist capsules and that's plenty enough for this mission.
I did this in two runs, one for the prisoners and the other for the other tasks, when I tried to get S in the original mission doing it your way I hated it cuz I died a lot and they were just a dumb ways to die (falling mostly)and with no checkpoints (the Worst part really) , but when I got the S with all tasks I really loved doing it and the mission grew on me lmao, and then jumped to the extreme to do this again, but it had to be done different and it had some real challenge, I really liked this mission for some reason, maybe it made me feel like a real big boss lol

Yeah this mission is pure cancer, gives me so much anxiety lmao. My advice, along with the advice from the video, is do it after you have your infinite bandana and stealth camo, makes things so much easier. And just bring the EMN mine and place yourself just a bit north of the Yakho outpost. All vehicles will travel there, and just lay out mines everywhere, like 10 in a row along the road. There will be one or two instances where two vehicles will come close together from north and south so just go to the north, extract that vehicle first, and then go down to where all your mines are and extract the vehicle trapped there. Forgot to mention, bring your best rocket launcher for the chopper. At the end the 3 tanks that spawn, you can take your time with them since its not timed, so just use your stealth camo and place mines and extract them. If needed, shoot once or twice at the vehicles to make them stop, since you have stealth camo, they wont see you until you are next to it and by the time they see you you have already extract it. And yeah of course do this on your second run after you do the S rank run by just extracting one vehicle and using phantom cigar to end the mission. so you dont have to worry about rank.
Well after many fails by my horse jumping me off a cliff to my death and getting ran over by tanks when I try to Fulton them from the front and having my prisoner in the desert get ran over and killed by the tank (no checkpoints in the whole fucking mission by the way 😉) I have wasted about 3 hours of my life for nothing not even the tasks you do get saved and I have lost my sanity, please wish me the best on my journey at the mental asylum
I got killed by one of tanks. I used Quiet to attack one of the bases allowing me to sneak past one of the base. Having her go crazy with her sniper skills caused one of base to distracted to look for me. But maybe i might switch her out for d horse I haven't used him in awhile I did get a unicorn skin from man on fire volgin
god its hilar watching you do this and trying to emulate this as i go about it, the whole operation starts to fall apart... at 10:15 hes heading off south of wako bako supply outpost with 6 mins to spare, im at the same place doing the same things trying to emulate this guy, and i have 4:50 left.... i find this funny
I fucking hate this stupid piece of shit mission. No checkpoints is absolute bullshit. I was on the last tank to extract and died so had to start all over again. EDIT: I did it again and after extracting the 3 tanks I didn't get the objective task. I'm done with this fucking mission.

+Wolf Hazard I didn't know this at the time but people are telling me that if you don't save the prisoner in the transport truck then the third tank never shows up. Are you saving the prisoner in the transport truck? If you are then it might be a bug, most mission bugs can stop if you I go back to mother base and then trying the mission agin.
+TimeTravelKiwi yes that was the problem I actually got it a few days after I left this comment. The problem is (I think) the game will only spawn a set amount of "marked" vehicles on the map at once, so if you have the truck with the rocket out OR the prisoner in the car out only 2 tanks will spawn at the end, so before you take out all the mission required tanks you need to et rid of the truck and car. Check to see if you have any side ops that are a different colour, the different colour side ops are story side ops that unlock main missions, I think I remember them being yellow on PS4.

This mission and the Quiet exit one are the absolute worst missions in the game! Made me not want to finish getting the platinum. So many things can go wrong that force you to restart the whole mission even if you're following the guide step-by-step. Absolutely insufferable.

Honestly i would just recommend extracting the prisoners in one run of the mission, and then go back and focus on the other tasks and S rank

Just camp in the north and put D Horse in the middle of the road, extract the armoured vehicles one by one. Done. They all pass the north

Hmmm it's not a bad idea - especially as yiu can bring armour parasites too for any scenarios which might call for them 👍

Just extract them by laying somewhere where they all come im here for the prisoner and the guards task

I fucking hate this stupid piece of shit mission. No checkpoints is absolute bullshit. I was on the last tank to extract and died so had to start all over again.
EDIT: I did it again and after extracting the 3 tanks I didn't get the objective task. I'm done with this fucking mission.

you don't have to play perfect stealth which I find it boring. Why not go in with loud weapon and play assault style which is more explosive.

a bit idiotic mission, i used 125mm tank, and it still could not destroy APC with 2 shoots, its stupid.
How does "blow up everything in sight" become a chore? Play this mission with it's fucking retarded objectives and with no resupply.
I've done this 4 times now and the 3rd tank from the east wont spawn T_T
+Wolf Hazard I didn't know this at the time but people are telling me that if you don't save the prisoner in the transport truck then the third tank never shows up. Are you saving the prisoner in the transport truck? If you are then it might be a bug, most mission bugs can stop if you I go back to mother base and then trying the mission agin.
+TimeTravelKiwi yes that was the problem I actually got it a few days after I left this comment. The problem is (I think) the game will only spawn a set amount of "marked" vehicles on the map at once, so if you have the truck with the rocket out OR the prisoner in the car out only 2 tanks will spawn at the end, so before you take out all the mission required tanks you need to et rid of the truck and car. Check to see if you have any side ops that are a different colour, the different colour side ops are story side ops that unlock main missions, I think I remember them being yellow on PS4.

It should be the same, just check your side ops for ones that are a different colour, most likely yellow text instead of white.

+Konstantin Rubikoff This is a glitch of some sort. In order for all 3 tanks to spawn you have to be kinda in the midle of the mission area when it's for them to apear, personally for me it worked when near the bridges just below Yakho Oboo Suply Outpost. Good Luck.

No problem man, glad it worked out.
This mission and the Quiet exit one are the absolute worst missions in the game! Made me not want to finish getting the platinum. So many things can go wrong that force you to restart the whole mission even if you're following the guide step-by-step. Absolutely insufferable.
