But...the lil' caption there does not come from the Bible...it comes from whomever dude in that tiny circle is. It was just his opinion, brah. What d'ya' got against Mary anyhoo? Surely you realize that everybody already knows about Jesus' half-siblings?
No the official teachings of the Roman Catholic Church is that Mary remained a virgin and didn’t have other children. The Bible teaches the opposite. That’s the point of this correction to this dude.
The real problem is that the so called “Catholic Church” today does not follow God’s word. “Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6)
@@TikTok_Taco_Talks The Bible doesnt teach the opposite. If it did, Mary's question about how she's going to have a kid since she is celibate (when she was engaged to Joseph) makes no sense. (Luke 1:34) Nor does it make sense for Jesus to have given Mary away to John at the cross. (John 19:26-27) The descriptors "brothers" and "sister" in that culture included cousins. Lean not on your own understanding, the Bible tells us.
Thank you for following the actual text and context in the Bible
