Shout out to The House! My son Braxton and I watch all your videos. He’s 12 and just picked up the game recently (2seasons now) just shot his first 200 game a few weeks ago. Thanks for helping me keep him excited about the game.
As someone who once maintained real wood lanes, I appreciate full synthetics even more than you do. Real wood lanes require far too much repair and resurfacing.
3:00 My bowling buddy and I always say that you can always tell when Boog Krol is gonna get 10-back because, immediately upon release, he’ll disappointedly go “OH, BOOG….”
Literally just saw that my home lanes are being replaced and this video shows up. Not sure exactly which synthetic surface they are going with, but they were wood. It was about the only place I bowl that had wood and I loved it. Gonna miss it.
Love the videos packy! Could you maybe do a video showing the difference between 2 handers who have bent elbows in the backswing vs locked elbows like Ryan Barnes and Justin Bohn?
They’re decent for reactive but terrible for urethane. It hooks so early it’s almost instant and makes it almost impossible to use on most patterns. I’ve also found that when you get used to the lane surface it’s more difficult to adjust to other surfaces as the ball can sometimes roll different in others and every single other surface I’ve bowled on hooks way less no matter the pattern. I don’t even want to go into the different types of oils as this is another can of worms 😂
You should make a 60 ft lane of wood and cover it with lacquer hand oiling it 40ft to show people how much more that surface hooked. Reactive hooked twice as much and the house that still had it in the 90s used a 44 ft pattern.
You need to get Jason Couch, Barnes, Brad Angelo and Brent on the channel to do a smack talk event. You each smack talk the other person in a race to 10.
You guys should do a race to most strikes with a chain/retaining rule. Ex. If you don’t get a strike, next person tries to chain strikes and vice versa.
Do a trivia video and ask the audience is if it's a bowling ball name or a weed strain name or both. I'm pretty sure it's the same guy naming both things.
It is true that the Brunswick A-2 was discontinued in 1985, but the vast majority of Wichita area lanes are still equipped with them. Apparently parts are still being made.
Just gotta help the pin out sometimes, ya know? Why do gamers lean their bodies when driving a racing game? I think even pro golfers will try to 'help' the ball with their arms and legs sometimes too xD
Video Suggestion: Bowling with Wiffle Ball bowling balls - drill 13 tunnels all the way through a ball making 26 total holes in the ball - and then bowl a game - you could also make Wiffle Pins in a similar manner - but who drills bowling pins???? If you use my suggestion send me a signed Wiffle bowling ball or Wiffle bowling pin 😂 - thanks for the fun videos!!!
They're actually SPL. HPL were already discontinued, and SPL replaced them because they're more resistant to delamination. SPL are more durable with a similar amount of friction as HPL. SPL approaches are also matte textured and HPL were polished.
1-GAME Colored pin challenge (put in at LEAST 3 colored pins): SHOT: medium-hard difficulty. X with colored head pin, your score total DOUBLES (that is, 120 in the 6th frame would become 240)...HOWEVER...any colored pin left standing anywhere means your scores gets halved. Example: 120 in the 6th frame, but you left a 10 pin that is a colored pin. That means, your score would go down to 60. Now, if you MISS the 10 pin which is a colored pin means you left it again, so your scores would by halved again...down to 30). OR: You leave the bucket which has 2 colored pins in it...,your score gets divided by 4. You chop it leaving 1 colored pin again, so your scored would get divided by 8. The more colored pins youi put in, the crazier it will get. High score wins!
I would to bowl against you guys. If you ever make it up to hutch from Wichita would love to bowl against you guys and possibly get some pointers as well. Currently have a 196 avg. Looking to get better
You need to do a back off challenge. Where you each get roasted and joked on during the approach and delivery. If you stop or back off, it’s a foul. Go for the entire game. Highest score wins. You should reach out to the UA-cam channel Country Club Adjacent.
"Ancient" lanes? These guys are young. Find the lanes that are older than their parents. I remember bowling on lanes that were built in the 1940s. Sadly, in the area I used to live in, there was six alleys in the late 1970s, now one.
@@DS-qz2gu I stopped bowling almost eight years ago due to physical issues. Most alleys in the last few years have gone synthetic, which are more even and last longer. Again, where I grew up, they still had old lanes in my twenties. Two of them burned down, two others went out of business. There is only one left, while two new ones were built in the sister city. Try researching them yourself. I have no clue where you live. It can't be that hard to find the rare ones left.
@@n9wff Sounds good, I’ll look into it. I just find it hard to believe that any bowling alley would still be operating with 60 year old lanes; that seems unrealistic. Honestly hope I’m wrong though, haha.
@@DS-qz2gu Let us know. I doubt there are but a rare few with the old style returns. As I think about it, there is one in Appleton, WI called Tenth Frame. No underground ball return. Automated but still there. As far as the old, fifties style alleys, only a museum would have that today.
Two of the best bowling personalities. It is a great chemistry between them. Love the channel and the content.
Mitch has the most gorgeous swing and release in all of bowling. I know I leave this comment often, but g'dang that guy is silky smooth.
He is my inspiration.
I just said it as well, but there are several with great swings and releases. Prather, Kritzer, Sherman, AJ Johnson, Pajak…. Are just a few

Yo what’s up dad packy is a real one! 🎳
You cannot go wrong with a video with Mitcho and Packy in it. Pure entertainment!
Mitch’s opening joke about the handshake is even funnier in the context of a 1-hander vs. 2-hander matchup 😂

im so glad I found this channel... Once I know my knee can handle bowling again, im jumping back in head first
I love that but start slow and take it at your own pace!
@@TheHouseBowling oh for sure... When I "Retired" I was bowling anywhere from 60-70 game a week... thats probably why my knees got as bad as they did
Be careful jumping… because of your knee,

It was nice to see Packy letting his daddy bowl with him in this video.

You going the right way. Made me chuckle.
Good thing you got your walkin' shoes Packy !!! I like the Napoleon Dynamite music! 🎶

I just watched you bowl on tv the other day and win good job bro I love watching you bowl you inspire me to work harder
Keep up that grind!💪🏼
Mitch is part hippie and part nerd. What a fantastic combination!!!

Mitch has an awesome ball roll. I hope he can catch (well, I hope you both) can win some singles titles next season !
Packys messenger was deadly 💀🗿
Naaaasty!👀
That 7-pin was absolutely mauled!
If the shot Mitch threw after the messenger struck that would’ve been two nasty strikes back to back 🐐

Those lanes u guys were bowling on in the first half of the vid are my favorite too. Legit automatic strike on those type of lanes I swear
Those are the ones getting put in throughout the house!

I love the brand new hazmat solid!

I love old lanes so much. They are so much harder, really separates the good bowlers from house hacks.

I thought they discontinued the Brunswick A2 pinsetter in the 80's
Did they find used ones?
