    This is a fascinating watch..but it does make me wonder.... at what point does it become more cost effective to just trash the carpet.
    This one looked as if it was a victim of a mud slide

    I think it's important to note that "new method" doesn't refer to a change in the way he cleans the rugs. New Method is actually the name of the CLEANING Product being used. Mountain Rug Cleaning has also showcased this product in one of his videos, and it is literally the name of the product. So basically they are getting paid to advertise/demonstrate the New Method cleaning product in their videos.

      I mean the video is meant to show the potency of a cleaning product, of course you wouldn't use the high quantities he used nor spend as much time as he does, afterall the video is meant to show a extrememly dirty carpet become very clean, at that point you could just throw it away, but he is getting money from advertisement.

    I think I’d have to check out all the chemicals in that foam before I used it and allowed it to go down the drain. It reminds me of the stuff they had to stop or reduce using (can’t remember exactly) in the US because it was sitting on top of the waterways in the US. You can see it’s not breaking down in this video. Imagine using that on several rugs a day.

    • @EllieFoster
      @EllieFoster 2 місяці тому +4

      Sometimes people mess them up on purpose or have gone through floods, have been salvaged from dumps and sometimes they are just used to put stuff (like bricks) on. This one does look like it has gone through a flood though.
