Yeah that’s normal. I have competitions almost every week so I have to squat and lift in the same week. I also do a little bit longer gym session 2 days before competitions and that’s work for me.
What happening if you noth lift (the CNS) before race How many hours before comp, when do you lift, or some kind of wake up for the CNS. That pretty new for Me :D
Probably nothing😅 someone might do some jumps to get ready and you need to try which work for you. But if you don’t lift often in outdoor season I won’t recommend to do this heavy lifts in the same day. I’m going to do a little bit different mornging training next time coz I want to test if it’s better for me.
