It's great that Kenyans are becoming politically aware and active. As much as a lot is happening, this collective consciousness ni kitu poa sana. I've listened to all Morara's interviews in full. He did not need to start vampire diaries but he did, he did not need to do civic education but alijituma, he did not need to get involved in politics or put his life in harm's way but he has. He had a pretty good life before all this. Like many great Kenyans who came before him, he has headed the higher call upon his life. Mr. Morara or anyone should be able to do public participation anywhere in Kenya. Public participation should be: free, fair and safe for all Kenyans. If Mr. Morara says he's going to be somewhere tomorrow then he should be safe, free and wherever he goes if Kenya was a democratic country. Also the fact that Morara can't announce his movements exposes the culture of political violence in Kenya. So really we should all recognise that public participation should be free, fair and safe for everyone and we should never allow ourselves to hide our whereabouts in order to be safe, we should all be safe regardless of our political opinion, so for that reason I would be careful to not champion travel destination disclosures because of poor governance where there's no accountability, instead we should be demanding accountability from security forces instead of telling Mr. Morara not to disclose his travel plans, we shouldn't capitulate to the fruits of misrule and misgovernance! So really we should all recognise that public participation should be free, fair and safe for everyone and we should never allow ourselves to hide our whereabouts in order to be safe, we should all be safe regardless of our political opinion, so for that reason I would be careful to not champion travel destination disclosures because of poor governance where there's no accountability, instead we should be demanding accountability from security forces instead of telling Mr. Morara not to disclose his travel plans, we shouldn't capitulate to the fruits of misrule and misgovernance!

I think what Mr. Morara said is that he required to reinforce his security but I also remember Mr. Morara saying that because of the sensitivity of the security arrangements he'll withhold some expenses information in respect to security. So that's my take home of what Mr. Morara meant when he said that he'll not publish details about security. Please go watch or read his disclaimer/s. As long as he explains why he's not publishing his security expenses then I see no big concerns.
As for Mr Miguna who's mostly overseas, we first need him on the ground, we need boots on the ground before we start consuming his opinions!
