It is just about missing the timbre, not about Taeyeon's ability. I find most songs are fine, but The Boys. The Boys without Jessica feels really off to me.

Jessica covered the entire taeyeon’s adlib at the final part of song while seohyun and tiff carry the chorus.. maybe bcs there is no official broadcast recording, only fancams but it was amazing!

That’s why you cannot just put 9 girls in a group to recreate the same magic again. Find the group a “TaengSic” first then combining girls with variety of extreme talents and visuals. Twice can never reach SNSD level. Twice’s songs are catchy but SNSD’s songs are untouchable.
