5:00 if any beginner like me is also struggling from last hour to find this mode in their adobe then let me tell you this method of track mat is changed in new version of adobe you need to select stroke layer in the new mode option

right click the area above your layers, select columns, and make sure "modes" is selected! There ya go :)

I love your video tutorial bro, but in drawing shapes, are you using the drawing pad gadget thing, i don't know what excactly they are called them. Used by autocad. Im struggling yo begin my logo drawing using mouse.
Thank you 💖, Actually I only used mouse to draw, it's hard when beginning in this software. But you can practice more with pen tool and slowly it will seems easy🙂

@@nuttycorns9705 I use Adobe illustrator to seperate the layers and save and import into after effects.
There are tons of tutorial about that in UA-cam. You can check them out.

what's the specs of your computer? My PC will lag when I use AE
How do you prepare the AI file for AE?There's 3 layers logo,text,bg when opened in AE.but in AI only 1 layer.
you go to illustrator and put the text on a layer , then the icon on a separate layer. save as Ai
it was all good until i tried to animate a hard edge it became a shit please help with that
6:27 When I try to get my logo to move back, it does but it disappears. It’s like there’s a cut-out of my logo and it like disappears behind it and idk what I did wrong
I got it! That's because you doesn't followed the tutorial correctly :) 3:12 here I've duplicated the logo and 5:08 - I've animated the opacity here. I think you might missed this step.
There is also an alternative way to fix this. you can parent the stroke layer to the logo layer.

the alpha matte stroke option is not showing in the track matte option on the logo what should i do ?? Please tell
Had the same problem. Right click above the layers and go to columns and activate mode. This should help.

Everything works fine until I do the offset part with the letters. Every time I frame each letter, the letters only disappear and don't move a bit later than the first letter... I hope you could understand what I mean, since my first language isn't English haha
Hey, thanks for watching the video. Actually, I can't understand what's your problem here. Do you duplicate the layer and masked each letter? and after this you want to offset the layer by a frame.

what if the logo overlaps and it is not the same width, but somewhere is more wide, and than it split on three paths?
If the logo overlaps, we have to split that layer and animate each, it's more complicated to show up in the tutorial, may be I will upload another video about it.
