Me encanta Floor, pienso que su trabajo es muy muy limpio en Nightwish y me hace feliz, sin embargo, esta canción es Tarja en todo su esplendor. Gloriosa interpretación.
Creo que si Floor cantaba con una voz más fuerte y clásica, el sonido mudo sería mucho mejor.
Santo Dios nadie puede compararse con Tarja ella es simplemente inderrotable

Ela conseguiu tornar o impossível no possível. esta música ao vivo na época do Nightwish ao vivo era horrível (na minha opnião). Hoje esta perfeita. Realmente uma Deusa.
Classical technique can be improved dramaticaly with training and new vocal practices, even if Tarja is older now, her Classical techique is much Better!
Plus her voice changed, improving the higher registers wich are much easier for her now (the lower registers were the ones which didn't improve with age)... So Yes, Tarja is singing this song much Better now than she ever did with Nightwish!
Learn about classical music and singing techniques, and you'll understand much better symphonic metal!

@@corections5068 There is no such thing as 'becoming a soprano', your vocal type is just one and to be defined you need to develop your technique first. Tarja's earlier repertory just didn't really showcase her whole voice and her technique was still being developed, a sporano is able to sing in a mezzo range but it doesn't mean much other than showing you have a wide range but it generally won't sound as natural and shine as much on mid-lower range unless you have really master technique, vocal type takes a several things into account, not only range. Tarja did a good job tough but she has always been a soprano, she just used to lower her larynx a lot to produce that [even] darker tone, in opera this is called 'voce ingolata' wich is generally not seen as good technique in classical singing as it's not really your 'natural' voice and if overdone can result in straining, reduce your resonance, range and flexibility and among other things it might even hurt your voice. That said she did really improve her technique a lot and this of course may change how she sounds singing older songs that might not suit her new healthier technique that nicely, she is totally able to sing in the old style she just don't want to.

I really love her music and she definitely has the talent and the voice.. I hope she really puts out classics like this in some future albums. Really heavy rock and metal songs. And the path she's been taken I think she's on the right way and getting heavier with each studio album.
Lembro de uma entrevista aonde ela mencionou que esta era uma das músicas mais difíceis de ser tocada ao vivo pela velocidade e pelas notas mto agudas. E que devido a esta dificuldade o NW não tocava mais, mas que após estes anos todos de prática, ela se sentia a vontade para voltar a tocá-la nos palcos novamente. E fez um excelente trabalho, muito melhor solo do que enquanto tocou com o NW uma vez em 2004 (tem video aqui no youtube) com uma velocidade diferente da original... Adorei! Parabens!

On the contrary. This, to me, is actually BETTER than it was when she sang it with Nightwish! And the new elements like the cello only serve to add a more "exotic" feel to the song.
But yes, I agree with you on one thing - this IS an insult to Tuomas, and Tarja WANTS it that way XD - rubbing salt on the wound, and reminding him every time she sings one of old songs, "his" songs, just how big mistake he made when he kicked her out!

Tarja is better than floor in opera and floor is way better in contemporary.
I think floor is more complete while tarja is very good at its speciality. I also prefer floor's timber.

Esta si es una voz de verdad!! Me gusta mucho Floor, pero hay que admitir que con la voz de Floor esta canción suena horrible, como cantada por una aficionada desafinada, mientras que Tarja lo hace con puro potencial y pasión.

los dos primeros discos son de tarja, no los puede cantar nadie!! y hay otros temas slaying the dreamer por ejemplo por flor o anet son un asco. Eso q flor y anet cantan muy bien.
Y Tarja la canta en la tonalidad original!! Floor le baja como 2 tonos porque no llega a las notas altas de la original..

Sé que es capaz de cantar agudo, me gustaba como cantaba en after forever, pero en nightwish le han bajado 1 tono a los temas antiguos, dicen que por las guitarras eléctricas, otros dicen porque floor no llegs fácil a esos tonos ahora q como lo ers con after forever...
