Wow the registers have become so advanced since I worked there as a teenager in the mid 90's. Not sure if this is more or less confusing than what we used to have back then. Our buttons didn't have any pictures, just highly abbreviated text. Then again our menu was way smaller than it is now.
when i was assigned to handle this task, i immediately quit my job. i can't take the pressure of talking to the customers while comprehending the buttons and tabs that you have to memorize.
@@perungod4112 it is hard though bc they expect you to be quick so you dont hold up the line and then they expect you to do this by yourself just after 3 shifts. doesnt help that you can barely hear what the people are saying and also ur coworkers talking over people taking orders on the headset. not to mentionnnn the buttons arent very clear, the 6 piece happy meal is confusing and the extra fries for a happy meal is confusing too
@@ninaddemaio6 piece happy meal isn’t confusing. 6 piece hm > if they wants extra fries, clear choice > kids fry > toy > ask if they want sauce and press whatever they’d like > ask what to drink and if they want a soft drink press xs for it.
@@slayfadeaway3506 well the 6 piece happy meal we didnt have the button for it on the screen, we used to have to do 4 piece happy meal> grill> xtra 2 nuggets. now we have the button for the 6 pc happy meal so it makes my life easier. also ik abt the extra fries now, i dont bother to press clear choice. i just press xtra fries and let the ppl up front no apple slices on the order number. also we dont have xtra small cups lol so its just small for the kids. since this comment ive been working back window by myself for 8 hr shifts 6 days a week so im good 😂
@@kinetik8272 The cake is super rare to come by nowadays, some restaurants you just go to the drive thru to ask for one or some restaurants you have to call to get them. And some restaurants don’t even have them.

Is the ice cream screen broken?
That LSM menu is secret 😂😂 lol

It’s so good amazing deals for fams
Min looks just like this one
I used to hate this. Screen is confusing
We’re you dropped on your head as a child?
@@UltraViolent21 “We’re you”? I think you mean “were”. Now I need to ask you the same question. Were you dropped on your head as a child?

This right here is why I don't work register
in the uk its completely different, very interesting to see
I got a McDonald’s interview coming up and I’m just trying to get refreshed, it’s been about 6 years since I lost workmen’s there
Left McDonald’s in 2016 and it looks exactly the same. Kind of surprised.
3 dollars for a McDouble is criminal
Cool
Same pos that many FF restaurants use.
I wish we had that screen when I worked many moons ago lol
Wooooaaaahhh
The U.K. McDonald’s screen is easier to use
Have you ever worked at a five story McDonald’s
I mean have you
wait a minute yours is soooo nice
my looks the same its just our computers are dogh water
Arbys had a fairly similar screen, it's not that hard once you get used to it :)
Wow, this register is so old!
true
Hold up do all American ones look like that?
It's different in the uk
It looks like its from the 2000s
Yes. 2009/2010 when that style and type came out. We had multi-colored screens for each food and drink group til end of 2010.
As an employee I fucking hate that screen
Does anybody even buy anything from the “McCafé” besides the pies? Seems like overpriced garbage
Yes the frappes !
The mochas, macchiatos, lattes, hot chocolate
What’s in the B-Day party menu?
Bunch of weird things, like cake, socks, etc
@@kinetik8272 The cake is super rare to come by nowadays, some restaurants you just go to the drive thru to ask for one or some restaurants you have to call to get them. And some restaurants don’t even have them.
What are the numbers for?
To select the amount of something being ordered. I.E you'd hit 4 to ring up 4 mcdoubles instead of tapping it 4 times
🤦♂️ Wow.
Any tips on how to close system
Why It So Comfusing?..
