I have to agree. The male VA mispronouncing words is distracting and a bit annoying. Still not as bad as an AI voice though. I can't stand the AI "acting".
I hate to say this, and it may change but as of 2:31:42. It's weird Remo's Narrator doesn't pertray him as outright unhinged as Remo in books 1-2 where. I think Remo's character might work better when you can't hear what he's thinking, I know Serifina is supposed to be that girl that makes Remo question everything, but Remo hasn't had that many unhinged moments not like in Book 1-2 I guess it kinda kills the magic when you know for a fact everyone is safe right now. In book 1 you could believe Remo would kill launa and Fabiano. I even was questioning if he's go unhinged psycho on Kiara. After all he's a lose cannon. Up to this point killing that perv and kidnapping Serifina is the craziest thing he's done. I hope I'm wrong but right now it's just kinda ruined the magic.
@ I’m almost certain it’s the same on audible too unfortunately. It gets better once you get into the story! I’d still say it’s worth finishing here on UA-cam.
@@lucindavandam951 when you’re done with this.. read or listen to Shantel Tessiers Lords series. You will lose your mind girl. It’s amazing. A lot more gruesome than this series but still along the same lines. Instead of the mafia it’s a major colt.
The same male narrator from Growl and Cara book.. urgh.. they should’ve let Teddy Hamilton or the Dante book narrator be the voice of Remo.. it would’ve been better.
This is such a good book but the narrators are awful!!! It makes it hard to listen to. They are breathy and even the way they read certain parts the emotion they reflect are wrong or exaggerated.

The story is great but the narrator voice (the man and the woman) are soooo dramatic - to a point of annoyance! 😬

I’ve listened too over 135 books on audible since I made this comment and this is still in my top 3 series of the year.

Got the narrators completely wrong, they are terrible. Meant to be 19 and early 20’s . They are awful.,I am jumping to book 4
It’s like growl voice and story, so disappointing about that. My mind can’t get over it. 😤
