  • A film first shown on BBC West continues the documentary series from the BBC Regions.
This programme tells the story of a Bristol city councillor. In May 1997, David Spry was elected. Six months later he announced his plans to become a woman and said he wished to be known as Rosalind Mitchell.
This film looks at how Rosalind is treated by constituents and colleagues and follows her as she spends a year living as a woman in preparation for the surgery that will complete her gender reassignment treatment.
