I always heard this that there is more Islam in the West than in Pakistan from my own father, uncles, and other Pakistanis, but after living in Pakistan I found out why it seems that way. The governments in the Muslim lands have been put in place by design to keep the Muslim masses away from Islam and to prevent any Islamic government/laws, in the name of fighting "extremism" etc. The greatest threat to the enemies of Islam is not hundreds of mosques in the Western world or Muslim immigration, but Muslim lands with strong Islamic governments/leaders. With relatives living in the West from the 70s I can tell you that the majority of future generations in the West will not keep Islam, but in Pakistan at least they have iman and love Allah and the Prophet (PBUH).

Migration will always be around it has been forever. Today lot of young people and older people seek to find themselves. And practice their religion. People who try to live a Islamic life will find it easier to guide their children on the path of Islam more easily in Islamic countries. As to the problem's that Pakistan is facing and the corruption. It can be fixed. Once you start on the path of Islam you will find almighty Allah will destroy the entire corrupt enemies of Islam and Pakistan 🇵🇰. No one built Rome in a day..Pakistan is a work in progress.
Great insights and excellent programme..your journey is very interesting may almighty Allah protect you and all the people who decide to change their lives 🙏

Very thought provoking discussion on the essence of our life in this world. Highly relevant in light of breakdown of family and society in the west today. The spiritual future of our children is at stake in this environment. All must reflect on this.

Jazakallahukhair for this discussion, but I must ask a few awkward questions..
    1) does the fact that the IMF virtually now owns Pakistan's economy not concern you? A significant amount of our productivity is just siphoned out to western banks via the staggering IMF debt repayments.
    2) is Pakistan ruled by the law of Allah? What do we define as Muslim lands?

    • @Zeczam
      @Zeczam Місяць тому +2

@@WajPakistan they are not silly questions. If they are, then you'd have no problem answering them.
The way I see it, if 25% of my economic activity in the west ends up benefiting the usury based global banking system, in Pakistan (with it's slavery to the IMF) that figure is more like 50% or maybe more.
I do still believe in hijrah but it would have to be to a land that is not indebted to the IMF.

The point of discussion is reason behind migration
most overseas move out to west because they want to earn more and they dont want to struggle to make change inside Pakistan because of fear for their life imean its pointless to draw comparisons. If Pakistan is indebted to IMF due to its corrupt army then struggle to bring change rather than moving out and then finding justifications. People of Iran didn't run out of Iran during the time shah of iran. The thing is people are cowards and greed pf wealth and family security is more than greed for jannah. I mean living in the west and praying for jannah is just like you are sitting in a bar and wishfully thinking that you will be forgiven.

MashaALLAH good points mentioned with context- only criticism is Ustadh Burhaan referring to the school he teaches in Derby as an Islamic school… it’s a voluntary aided school which is state funded, run by a non Muslim trust who claim to have an inclusive Islamic ethos 🙈 for anyone who might find my comment hard to accept as you from Derby, msg me and we can chat in the presence of the Ustadh. That said I accept the challenges of living in the west but as the interview gave context let’s not fool ourselves and call that school Islamic 😅

My take is that live in the UK on the condition that you never enrol your kids in government schools. Get them taught privately.
If both parents are proactive in the upbringing of thier kids then there's still hope here. There's so many Madrassahs and Masajid here in the UK.
    We still have the Deen.
And on the side save money and purchase property in Pakistan and visit occasionally.
For a Western family, Pakistan is not suitable unless you have your own fully kitted 10 marla house with a 6 kilowatt solar system and backup UPS system so you're not reliant on WAPDA.
The house will need all the Western style appliances. And a car porch is a must.
Also ensuring there's a 250-300 ft water bore for drinking water.
Only when you have the proper setup then visit occasionally or go for an extended stint like a year or more.
Ensure you have at least £10k of saving per year to get by ONLY after you've got your setup done.
    Peace.

Sorry bro. Gotta completely disagree. I just came back from Umrah and then Pakistan. It made me appreciate everything I have in Birmingham. The rulers and cultures have messed up those countries so bad that I could never go back. The whole universe belongs to Allah Subhanahutala. We are sent here to worship Him and do the work of the the Prophets, as there will be no more Prophets. That's what we will be judged upon. Doesn't matter where we are.

Those Hafidh narrated from our Prophet (SAWS) weren’t taught to us just for the sake of being there.
He FORBADE any Muslim to settle amongst the musrikeen. He DISOWNS any Muslim who resides amongst the disbelievers; in a Hadith, it’s mentioned that our fire should not be seen by the disbelievers and we should not see their fire. If you live amongst a people for 40 days, you are one of them.
If you choose to go against all these advices, can you then hope for any goodness coming your way?
Allah tells us to obey Him and His messenger. Whatever he commands, we should fulfil, and whatever he prevents us from doing, we should abstain from it.
      Allahu Alam.
It’s not the Islamic sentiment you have felt but the familiar environment you were brought up in as well as the public order of the UK. Underneath the surface of advancements, it’s the rot and decay of immortality and kufr, corruption and all the things that Allah hates.
If you trade all the comforts of the west for living in the land of Adhan, it should suffice you on the Day of Judgement, in shaa Allah.
Whoever makes a dua for the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) after the Adhan, it will be an obligation upon the Prophet (SAWS) to intercede to Allah for you on the Day of Judgement.
      Isn’t that amazing?!
Allah promised the Muhajireen rizq kareem, while devil is threatening you wit poverty. Whose will you then believe?
May Allah forgive us and guide us.
I have left the UK 7 years ago, and am currently residing in North Africa now.
May Allah open the hearts and doors for every sincere believer in the west to migrate for His sake.
      Ameen.
