I've been playing guitar for about 2 months and it just dawned on me that from left to right, these are the 4th, 5th, 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions of the minor pentatonic scales. All the "R"'s indicate the C note.

Start on one of the "R"oot-Notes, when the track beginns. Then improvise only using the black dots. You will figure out, what sounds great after some time for sure :) but, get some pentatonic patterns in the inet, where the notes are writen in, this will be easier

All the dots indicated on the fretboard shown are all the notes/position that you need to hit during the playback of the track. You’ll not go out of tune if you hit the dots with timing of course on the beat.
