I used a tire paste/sealant to cover all rubber rings inside the valve. I get it from my friends tire service station. He always apply it between tire and rim when he replace it. It works really well.
Ok heres my Zodiac valve fix I have both the old and new valves, they both have the same fault Take the valve out, pull out the rubber valve part Look down the aperture and you can see it goes all the way out to the knurled nut The newer valve is the same, take the screw out and take a look, hole goes right through thoroughly clean the the valve and the rubber Take some 5200 and stick the centre rubber into the valve leaving the edges spared in the later valve put some 5200 on the thread Another thing, sometimes the surrounding black plastic part the valve supposed to seal to gets worn get some 4000 grit paper and bed the base of the valve always make sure the outer gasket is in good shape you should find leaks are considerably reduced cheers
Shoot I forgot You can also use some riggers silicon, thats the kind that never goes hard used to lube sail tracks Smear it over the threads, another known source for leaks

Those valves are designed to leak, until the cap is in place. This way, tube pressure can be checked with an air gauge.
Holy smokes, the "quick change" semi recessed valves were discontinued in 2003, meaning that tube is at least 14 years old.

I think that's not the correct way to mount them, the gum/pvc part that closes the vent must be pushed in manualy before the little piston.
That was boring az heck. Have new pillow great shape went softer overnight. 🖖👍👍👍 thanks
