- In this Atlanta Georgia travel guide we take a look at the downtown Atlanta area including Centennial Park as well as around the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca Cola. After exploring downtown Atlanta at Peach Street and CNN at the Omni Hotel we head down towards Buckhead. Atlanta metro is known as the capitol of the south and is the largest metro area in the south eastern United States.

I Love Atlanta!! I really miss the old Underground. It’s so much history. Atlanta is huge and so much to do...the BBQ... the parks...everything! The humidity though 😩 LOL!

Great video Island Hopper, never went to Atlanta in Georgia before, so this video was very usefull to see all place of interest, especially that huge Omni hotel and CNN head quaters was impressive and the Huge ferris wheel I saw at the Olympic park. Very nice video you did, I was watching this from Paramaribo in Suriname.

Atlanta has one of the best city layouts Ive seen. The city itself is very clean, and full of rich culture. Im going to take a trip next spring. Defintely lots of good eat places, and Ive gotta see that cool aquarium. Even the suburbs of ATL are nicely laid out. Great video, and wonderful footage!

$125 is a steal for a hotel room in a major downtown area. Here in Denver, you can't get a hotel room in downtown for under $180 per night, most hotels well over $200 per night.

nice guide but you are missing alot there!!! example midtown areas around Colony Square, Piedmond Park- Belt line , Sundial , Ponce City market, Atlantic Station, then little Five-Point, then historic places like Dr.King house...suburbs outdoor Atlanta iconic places like Stone Mountain, Lake Lanier, etc ...Asian Hispanic towns as well...gonna have to check them out if you are in Atlanta.. btw GA Tech campus is beautiful as well

Nice but maybe part 2 showing Eastside like Decatur and Ponce as well as midtown and piedmont park where there is tons of things to do. Also going up north to Alpharetta or Dunwoody would be nice as well to include. But whatever you do, do NOT go to westside and south of I-20, very dangerous.
Can you please tell me why I shouldn't go to those specific areas of Atlanta? I'm going for the first time I've never been to the south east coast 😄 should I purchase a gun? I'm a white looking Mexican lol

I live in Atlanta and when my cousins from seattle visited, my cousin who is about 7 jumped in front of someone riding a scooter and almost got hit this was in front of the aquarium

It was Most likely it was a weekend day on Saturday or Sunday. It’s not that hot in May and with lower humidity as well though it could get to the upper eighties in mid to late May.

Like Atlanta, but Miami Florida his better way more to do and beautiful beaches and the night life different, Hallandale Beach Florida is a another beautiful city too that’s growing.

The aquarium used to be the biggest in the world and then China built one that was bigger. The same thing happened with the largest coin in the world in Sudbury and then China made one that was bigger. China is always making things that are bigger to break World records.

A little bit ugly city, where there is nothing really interesting. The best american city for european tourists is NYC. This mostly black city is waste of time for european tourists. Many asian cities are now more interesting, more civilzed, safer and more culturally attractive (modern architecture, history etc.) than ATL etc.
