Indeed the BEST teaching video´s in Bachata - so smart to write down the names of the step´s - it helps so much & makes all the difference & yes your dancing is relaxed & very gOOd & GOD
¡Hello Juan! The first time that I watched one of your videos I couldn't leave youtube without clicking on suscribe. You're really a great great dancer. I'd like to ask you something... In your videos, when you're dancing with a girl sometimes you stop doing the basic bachata step and you "pull" her to your chest and the movement she makes seems great and very sensual. It's like what you did on 0:05 Does that movement have a name?? And well, thanks for all the dancing master pieces you upload.
Hello Diego. Glad that you are enjoying my bachata videos. Please do share them with others as well :) Those moves that you are talking about, are part of my sensual repertoire, on which I ask the girl to be responsive and match my movement. I'm actually teaching a workshop tonight in Sydney and this move is one of those that I will teach tonight.
Great video! I have learned a lot from this! I noticed when you go into shadow you step-tap step-tap to get the direction of the feet right. In social dancing should I (as lead) always take care of the footwork to do the direction change when entering or exiting shadow?
Yes, that's my philosophy. I do always teach that the lead should change the timing to match the ladies timing, as the ladies have to think about following, about styling, about looking good :), they already have enough challenges as it is. Guys are the "time-keepers", always. However, this philosophy is not always shared by all bachata instructors
@@JuanRuizBachata"guys are the time keepers" lol. Gals are not capable dancers to the music? Smh. I do see super followers who can follow guys who don't dance to the music.
Dateline July 1, 2023. Thank you. We can pick up some of the cool moves and put it into our repertoire.
