- Finally a year in review video. This is my review of my first year in retirement, 2024. I briefly go over things that happened financially and how I'm enjoying my retirement life.

Good stuff - am looking at retirement in 2025, so all interesting topics to me. Sub'd in - Thanks
thanks for the comment and the sub. I'm working on a video that will provide a deep dive on how I handle my budget and savings, etc.
Nice neighborhood. The year went fast!
thanks for the comment. the year did move along at a fast pace. the only downside was the truck wreck.
Thanks for being genuine Chuck!
I dig vinyl, too... along with the vintage gear.
Heading into an early retirement in April, myself! My better half retired this past summer.
thanks for the comment. Retirement takes some getting used to. For many months I felt like I should be accomplishing something or doing something. I finally took time to slow down and realize everyday is a Saturday and things can slide to the next day. Congrats on the approaching retirement. Let Steve at Steve's Retirement Corner (@retirementcorner) know and get a shout out on cowbell Tuesday.
Cool sweater.
I’ll bet the year felt like it went by fast. Seems like you’ve been pretty busy.
I like that you have so many income streams. I think it’s always smart to be diversified.
thank you, the sweater is part of my Capt. America clothing collection.
@@retirementainteasy I figured as much 👍🏼🇺🇸
Hey Chuck, good job on planning for your retirement.
I’m not sure of your guitar skills but at first glance and listen, you kinda remind me of Tim Pierce.
thanks for the comment. I had many a spreadsheet, used Boldin (New Retirement) online and had a buddy who was my financial sounding board to reassure myself that I could survive at least 10-15 years on retirement. I'm not even close to the level of Tim Pierce on guitar, the guy is phenomenal. I'm a hobbyist.
I hear ya. He’s pretty much one of a kind. Just thought it was funny. The looks and the voice . Have a great day.
I retired in 2018 ! I don’t know where I ever found time to go to work !
Sorry about the double post below.
On your hip, if it needs replacement, get it done ASAP. You might check several sources that can verify a surgeon that does excellent work.
I had both of mine done at the same time about 13 years ago. Best thing I ever did should’ve had it done several years earlier.
Immediately you’ll find the hip pain you’ve had is gone and you just have recovery pain that gets better quickly!
thanks for the comment. yeah I need to call the doc and get that process going. I think I mentioned that it's not the surgery, it's the recovery and all the challenges that scares me. My ex-boss had it done and swears by it, so we'll see.
