That feature where you get the green notification when the camera is in use is on all Galaxy phones running Android 12. Well given my personal sampling anyway. My son has it on his S20 FE , my wife has it on her Note 10, I have the Note 20 Ultra and the Z Fold 3 and they both do it as well.
My biggest gripe is also the skin tone when taking photos of yourself or others. The skin tone is always off or looks like it has a beauty filter on vs the iPhone skin tone indoors.
Sorry guys since the S10, with the introduction of the "scene optimizer" aka AI, the photos are SOO inconsistent. I'm Latino and Italian, Olive skin and sometimes wants to raise the highlights, sometimes the midtones and the AI is just BAD. You can tap on the icon (lower left coner) and turn it off.. Then results are little better but not great. TBH, I liked the old school camera App on from the S7 to S9, before AI.

@Matt Rickey I would switch to an iPhone due to its better battery and camera performance but android make my productivity so much easier than ios that's why I have to stick with my S21U lol. I'm getting the S22U exynos soon and hope the camera performance improve.
It's really shitty that europe is getting the 42% slower exynos processor. And the fact that you have to now purchase the 256gb variant to be able to get 12gb of RAM is absolute trash. That's £1250 going to a company that i swear is looking to be more of a rip off than apple nowadays.

After watching your video and other videos, I am leaning toward returning both phones when I get them because of the battery, but mostly because of no SD card slot. I thought I would be ok with saving things in the clouds, but after testing them in areas with low to bad connections, I decided to keep my note 20 ultra 5G because of the SD card slot. I have a 512gb SD card from Samsung, which allows me to quickly access my files whether or not I have good or bad connections. Also with so many bad news about cloud storages being hacked, I think I have better control over my files using my SD cards than relying on the clouds. Peace
Yeah if S22 Ultra had a SD Card and better battery would be perfect...I hike in the Colorado Mountains and many times no cell connection so cloud doesn't work

I wish people would know about and use Samsung's Motion Photos, its a game changer when it comes to moving objects.
Mine arrives tomorrow, I'm still at the beginning of the video but I'm excited.
Wow the zoom capability is Amazing.
I got the green s22 ultra and its coming in a hr as well with the case!!! cant wait!!!
Taking video with the S22 ultra, Great for a social media... 💯
I wonder will the shutter lag be fixed with an update? Always love your content.
For the photographers, please remember that darker skin tones have more under tones that will be affected when shooting.
Probably not. 21 ultra had shutter lag even after the update that was supposed to fix it. And it took them like half a year to roll that update out as well.
New intro is fire man.
Man what a beautiful phone. Very useful too! I can only dream of owning one. That hoodie tho! Gundam fan through and through. Awesome vids as always! 💪🏻
I appreciate that wallpaper. Have used that one on every Galaxy phone I have had since I found it.
We need a real day in a life video of the Galaxy S22
That fate scene is so 🔥. That hoodie damn!
You answered LITERALLY the only question i had: "Can i take sharp pictures of my toddlers indoors?". Shutter lag seems to be a consistent weakness for Samsung which is literally the reason i switched to Google, so it looks like I'll be staying with my Pixel 6 Pro for a while. Great video, as always!
Samsung is pretty lazy as of now and has been like that for a few years imo
@@md.arkanulislamnabil278 i agree. Their biggest advantages are the Dex and stylus functionality and i don't miss either at this point ... especially at those crazy prices when my Pixel 6 Pro was like 40% cheaper and takes way better pictures overall.
You're the only UA-camr I know that does this, and I love it. Keep up the great work.
Check out the unlockr videos days in the life also very good
This has nothing to do with the video but bro, you have legit the coolest studio ever. Looks absolutely fire
welp mine just arrived on the door step!!!!!!!! HYPE!!!
2:53 The S22 Ultra be like:
Love your curves and all your edges. All your perfect imperfections 🥲
I really love the way you present everything, you cover everything I'm looking for without being monotone or anything. The win over for the subscribe was the anime reviews coming soon🤣 Keep doing what you're doing and the team!
Been waiting for this video, my phone will be delivered Monday
Were you able to capture decent photos with the motion photos and select one that was not blurred? Curious to see how it can handle and capture photos (with quality) for moving subjects.
Love the curve screen and the camera layout think it's bang on I do can't wait for my sky blue one to arrive
The stability of those zoom in shots blew me away
I'm getting the s22 ultra in burgdey got case r5w charger and rear camera protection
Omg! Your little boy is getting so big! He’s so adorable 🥰
I love curved edges! Looks so much sharper!
Been waitin for this for a minute
thats a sick zaft hoodie
Can't wait for my phone to arrive
Sorry guys since the S10, with the introduction of the "scene optimizer" aka AI, the photos are SOO inconsistent.
I'm Latino and Italian, Olive skin and sometimes wants to raise the highlights, sometimes the midtones and the AI is just BAD.
You can tap on the icon (lower left coner) and turn it off..
Then results are little better but not great.
TBH, I liked the old school camera App on from the S7 to S9, before AI.
Best review ever, I hit the subscribe button and will look forward to more reviews !
I love the Curved/Round Edges!
I love your videos ❤️ Great job
That’s one bad ass phone 📱
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!!!!
Keep the reviews coming! Mine arrives this Wednesday !
There will be updates for the camera, such as the shutter speeds, optimisation etc. I wouldn't worry too much everyone
S21 still had shutter lag today.
Keep waiting on that magical software update bud I wouldn’t hold my breath
@@mattrickey2222 but it's much better than before.
@@dxtnguyxn4179 I would agree. I had to move to the P6Pro because indoor kids and pet shots were absolutely terrible. Which during the winter months is my primary use. I have the S22U on order, but I think I'm going to turn around and sell it.
@Matt Rickey I would switch to an iPhone due to its better battery and camera performance but android make my productivity so much easier than ios that's why I have to stick with my S21U lol. I'm getting the S22U exynos soon and hope the camera performance improve.
2:20 "it's moving more than I would like"... Very next scene the camera man is moving around more than the phone does.
I have the fold 3 but and i was trying to wait for the fold 4 but im kinda tempted to get the s22 ultra in white
The White S22 Ultra does look pretty good, it has that Cyberpunk look. Put a thin black gel skin cover and you're go to go👍🏿
I hear the Fold 4 is going to be greatly improved.
@@MrCaribe65 same small screen on front though
Yeah i decided to swap my fold 3 for an 22 Ultra. Maybe in 2 yrs ill go back to the fold.
It's really shitty that europe is getting the 42% slower exynos processor. And the fact that you have to now purchase the 256gb variant to be able to get 12gb of RAM is absolute trash. That's £1250 going to a company that i swear is looking to be more of a rip off than apple nowadays.
It has more stuff than Apple so Price is a tiny bit higher what do you expect. Apple is Still Good im not saying its bad
@@DebsTrading it's just a rip off, in my opinion.
It's just a rip off!
@@davidbrown6878 well your opinion sucks in my opinion😝. If you think its a rip of leave it be dont be a baby
@@DebsTrading Well no. We were actually hoping to purchase this year's flagship device from Samsung, but they failed in pretty much every aspect you possibly can fail in. If you honestly saw the difference between the two chipsets in terms of performance. It's criminal what they're doing. Charging us higher prices for something with close to half the performance. It's a joke.
Got mine yesterday.
Very stoked
Good video. Been a note user since note 2. The note 5 was the worst note for me due to no removal battery and no SD card slot. Note 7, note edge, note 8, i skipped note 9 and 10 to get Note20 ultra 5G. Now, I pre-ordered the s22 ultra 5G 256gb black for me and burgundy for the wife. Peace
I agree!
Yeah if S22 Ultra had a SD Card and better battery would be perfect...I hike in the Colorado Mountains and many times no cell connection so cloud doesn't work
Mine was just delivered!!
This launch date feels forever
I never knew about the green camera symbol on the top right corner. I have noticed it but hadn't looked into why it was happening, I just happened to switch the theme of my phone right after the update so I almost thought it was a feature on that theme lol.
For those that pre ordered from att they did ship out phones. Me and my wife will be receiving them Monday 😌
Lovely one, if i was to spend my money. I think s22 plus is enough phone for me.
