+anythingnew The band is best known for their song "Machine Civilization". This song was produced in response to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
+Efreeti I know exactly what you mean. Well, maybe. It speaks to me on a massively, massively profound level as well. Probably not in the same way it speaks to you, no doubt that's personal to you. It's partially encapsulated in that bit at the beginning where the lady nods in acknowledgment as they pause. Just a normal, mundane moment of politeness and civility, but universal and human.
Having been to Japan and learned a lot about Japan, there's a line that really emphasizes Japan's lifestyle"...are imprisoned in the mechanical rhythms. It's always the same scene everyday, where production lines march on nonstop." In Japan, you can literally live the exact same schedule every single day for a year. Wake up in the morning, get on the train that is NEVER late, get something from the convenience store (they'll never sell out), attend to your duties and finish your day the exact same way every day.
+Astray71 for the past year in japan, as someone who occasionally catches the 9:03am and even sometimes the 8:54 instead of the 8:58 train in japan, i object to the statement "literally live the exact same schedule every single day"!
+Jacob Mault I can't speak for other countries, but in the US and China, the unexpected happens quite often. You'll see delays, you'll see a lot of random occurrences when you're going to and from places, and generally, you'll see something new happen every day. Maybe your favorite coffee will run out of a specific menu item, maybe the bus is never on time, or maybe a store closes early for some random reason. What I mean is that in Japan, everything about society is so perfect that basically nothing will ever go wrong. There's a saying, "things will never as happen as you plan" or something like that. Yeah, no. Things do happen as you expect them to in Japan. I planned 2 weeks of vacation in Japan and everything went as expected :)
I'm Japanese student. So I'm so glad because you made such a wonderful video and everyone loves Japan! thank you very much! I'm sorry that i wrote long sentence and my English isn't good.but I'm happy if you read!! Thank you for making this!
This are those musicvideo clips that you actually wanna watch to the end, just to understant the meaning of the song/music, to see them perform, to see the amazing footage, I am so loving this!
Yamron Alkaizer wtf? You really never heard of Tutting huh? My goodness. I believe the only kind of dance u have ever heard is hip hop. What a sadness..
This was this first video by World Order I ever saw, and it will always have a special meaning to me. If you look at the publish date, it's one week after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. I wasn't in the immediate destruction zone, and hadn't lost anyone, but that was still probably the most terrified I'd been in my life. The week after was just walking around in a semi-traumatized daze with aftershocks every few minutes, wondering if each new shake was going to be another big one. I saw this video right when it came out, and after a week of seeing nothing but images of death and destruction, it was the first thing that made me smile. Even now, several years later, it brings tears to my eyes when I see it.
The one at the back of the line at 0:45 is the most talented mover/dancer... He's really excellent. Not a movement out of place during the whole video...
cott damn... the dance moves technically aren't difficult. And that's what makes this so amazing. The creativity of the choreography is sooo creative. And the precision is so tight, it's literally like watching art move. The beginning of the tutting routine I was iffy on, but as it progressed it kept getting better and better (the tut into the riffle part was so sick) to the point I had to rewatch the end multiple times to see how they managed that last piece of choreo. Any dancer will tell you, MJ's dance moves weren't highly difficult to do. It was his precision and practicing those moves over and over again to make it look perfect (his spins, shuffles, and glides) is what makes his dance look so special and amazing. This is the same concept
God, I didn't know this group 2 weeks ago and now every discovery is a gem. I really like them. What an awesome band! I wish they were still performing.
I've also discovered them recently. This, Have a nice day (the Shibuya version specifically) and Missing Beauty are my favourites. Missing Beauty in particular hit pretty hard since I relate to the (translated) lyrics a lot.
@@Sakirth Missing Beauty is also my favourite. The Dance moves, the lyrics, the melody, everything is great. Sorry to hear that. I relate too cause I had a hard breack up a few years ago... I focused myself on other stuffs and even if the pain is still here sometimes, life goes on (sorry for the cliché but it's true). Good luck and keep your head up! As a wise man said, we are all one. : )
@@Tony-xx5lr Haha thanks. No worries, it happened a long time ago. But I hadn't found a song with lyrics that described my thoughts and feelings that well until I listened to Missing Beauty. And yes, the dance moves and lyrics are beautiful too. Truly a masterpiece.
I have a lot of respect for whoever choreographed this. I can't even imagine thinking up these kinds of movements, let alone putting them all together so well in a video! Respect for these guys as well for performing it so well!
exactly: Why don't we do art that shows the diligence of these Japan people at the Olympic ceremony? If they were British, they would have appeared in 2012 Olympic ( London )
Fantastic talent! An innovative group indeed! Cannot get this song and it's deep meaning out of my head. It's so catchy. These thoughts are not illusion my friends.
i remember watching this as a kid and thought 'wow that's a very cool choreography'. Watching it now as a working adult, I realized the significance of the song to society which, even after 12 years later is still relevant

In the morning of machine civilization,

wrapped in their grey uniforms,
are imprisoned in the mechanical rhythms.
It's always the same scene everyday,
where production lines march on nonstop.
However, something is missing
in the twilight of machinery.
Where's the world going?
Won't somebody tell me?
Are these thoughts illusion?
Are we all one?
Will this world be able to change?
Are these thoughts illusion?

Humans work, birds sing,
and then they fall into a deep slumber.
"Open your eyes!" He shouts.
It's always the same scene everyday,

Someday we'd surely want a revolution
in the twilight of machinery.

Yep, precision definitely. Although I'd add that transition and a smooth follow through matter to sell the whole thing.
またみにきちゃいました!たまに無性に見たくなる!
All jokes aside, their songs and choreography are amazing.
Boy-band for real men.
we are not joking. we unironically like their art.
なぜこの日本人の勤勉さを表しているアートをオリンピックの式典でやらないのか……
ワールドオーダーの時代は終わった
何故ならヨーロッパのお祭りだからです(´・ω・`)
exactly: Why don't we do art that shows the diligence of these Japan people at the Olympic ceremony?
If they were British, they would have appeared in 2012 Olympic ( London )

Fantastic talent! An innovative group indeed! Cannot get this song and it's deep meaning out of my head. It's so catchy.
These thoughts are not illusion my friends.
i remember watching this as a kid and thought 'wow that's a very cool choreography'. Watching it now as a working adult, I realized the significance of the song to society which, even after 12 years later is still relevant
