Suzuki 8S. "A little bit more torque than what we've been playing with so far" Was this ridden before the TL1000S? The 1,000 cc VTwin only weighs 9kg more but produces over 91 Kw and 107 Nm torque, compared to the 8S' 61.9 Kw and 78 Nm. I am kind of puzzled here. Almost 30 more Kw, and 29 Nm more Torque is substantial, let alone quite noticeable...

Would of liked to see more laps on the 500.. even a lap on the kat behind you .. I used to have a kat back in the day.. I loved the plate.. last 3 letters were fek 😅.. as per cracking vid my man 🤘
They start to deliver real power around 4500 rpm because of the rotary intake valve . I used to race a TZ750 (reed valves) and that only started to give usable power around 6000 rpm. Also raced it in the 500 configuration with TZ250 barrels on but the throttle became more like a binary device, same power output as the 750 configuration but only a 3000 rpm powerband until redlining at 10500 rpm. In 500 races those RG500's would always pull away from me on the exit of the corners.
I always have time for Steve Parrish he is so funny and a decent guy, he is something the motorcycle racing community/industry needs more of.

Suzuki TL 1000 had rear shock design problem!🤐. Once sorted excellent machines.
