I've read that people who are mean to others as kids forget about it as adults. While the trauma caused to the victim is never forgotten. So when they meet as adults, the bully might not even realize they were bullies.

When james was talking about his bullying experience, he was diluting the reasons as to why people bully to make it less awkward for Kiersey, but what a shame, because it was people like her that made people like him miserable. It’s not something to blame on being ‘bored’

There is no excuse for bullying. I don’t like her vibe and how she makes excuses for it. James is so sweet and gentle too, an absolute puppy next to her.

I beat up bullies as a Tomboy in grade school 1-6. I don’t think it’s boredom that fuels bullies. It’s their lack of understanding of people who are different than the average, and if the desire to be accepted by other bullies is important, some kids act out as bullies to earn their place with their so called cool group. Plus the home life is important to look to that can foster small mindedness.
