The reason I went with a 2021 Can Am Maverick X3 XRC Turbo RR is I owned a Polaris RZR1000XP 2015 from new & had plenty of stop ride notices issued from POLARIS and had to drag it back to the dealer each time and I had to spend thousands more on accessories that came standard on the XRC. Powerwise the Can Am hoses on the Polaris RZR & I reckon the Can Am is a far better machine overall.
I bought my '18 X3 Turbo R when it was new for the same reason. I didn't like the design (shape) of the Polaris cage. We can't ride 72" width on WI trails so mine is 64", and the first mod I added was to find a set of used beadlock wheels and mounted Tusk Terrabite's to them. I love my X3.
rented a rzr xp1000 a couple times and that started my need for a sxs. I drove a can am x3 and knew it was the right machine for me! So much more capable, faster and the rotex engine has been around forever and is bulletproof. They all have their issues that need addressed, drive them before you buy them
Problem with driving them before u buy them is damn near ZERO dealerships let u test drive them… which is absolutely rediculous. Either way, I’m either getting an 2022 x3 or the pro xp. Honda talon is a close second. X3, And Honda talon and pro xp are tied for second for me. What y’all think?
If you were blindfolded and they sat you in a ProR or a ProXP and removed your blindfold and let you ride each one... you wouldn't buy that X3..... but looks are important.
I got my 2022 in October but I got the 4 seat for my family but I had to get an XRS for the 72 inches and the roof and harnesses already she’s modded up pretty good now but waiting for the big things like the cage and suspension and then shock therapy revalving but she has baja designs lights on her with a chase light and whips and rock lights and she’s gonna gets a banging sound system but all with time
Just subscribed. Ordered a 2023 Max from the dealer. Couldn’t tell me when it will be officially announced. Any ideas when Can Am usually announce the next model year.
Thanks for the sub. Stayed tuned for the giveaway video. We closing in on 1k subs real quick. Usually Can-am and Polaris reveal their models line ups mid August.
They announced the Turbo R at the same time as the Pro R. Which the turbo R is the pro xp with the wider suspension and 32 inch tires. Weird that you didn’t mention it.
Not weird at all actually. Neither the Turbo R or the Pro R were revealed to the public at the time they revealed the model line up for the year. That’s why I ordered an X3 in August when they both companies revealed their model line ups. I believe they didn’t reveal the pro r or turbo r until September or November. That’s why I said in the video now the Pro R are revealed to the public but it was after I already had my x3 on the way.
@@JakeAlexander Gotcha, I was under the impression you condered the Pro R. If you knew about the Pro R then you should've known about the Turbo R which is the replacement for the Turbo S and an upgrade from the Turbo S. Either way the Can Am is an excellent machine.
I went from a pro xp ultimate to a Pro R premium. Man I wish I had my old machine back. I had it the way I wanted. Brick City fab cage. Clutch kit and stage 3 AA tune. The Pro R is just to big and sluggish. Also alot of cab noise. Huge mistake I made but I'm stuck with it for now. I did add a tune and clutch kit. I feel like it helped but it's still under powered. Someday maybe I'll add a turbo to it.
We have a lot of trails open for everything and I have never seen a department of natural resource officer ask the width of our rigs or measure the width of the machines. As far as they know they are 64” wide lol
@@JakeAlexander sweet! I live in Illinois and MI, WI are the closest places to ride. Here is all flat with no trails. I’m thinking about getting x3 72” and was worried that I won’t be able to take it anywhere across the border. Currently getting my quads ready for a visit to Silver Lake. Any advice before heading out there? Haven’t been there yet, can I fit 52” gooseneck trailer in the parking lot?
@@pawel900rr99 heck yeah! That’s awesome! I have seen semis in the parking lot so you should be good. If your not running paddles then run lower tire pressure. Make sure you have flag mounts and be careful first time over the dunes. The peeks can have drop offs early in the season.
@@JakeAlexander Awesome! Is there more that one access/ parking lot or is there only one? I want to make sure I get to the right place without circling it. Thanks for the tip!
The X3 would be as popular as the yxz if it didn't have that engine... the new Pro Xp is a overall better machine and easy to work on with the best extended warranty IMO..
People who choose can am over polaris dont know abouts utvs, i own a 20 xrs turbo rr and a rzr turbo r 4. The rzr is much faster and has better handling at higher speeds.
I bought a canned ham cuz of its aesthetics. I just want to look cool while i roll over
Fair enough 😂

Not really fair to compare a rig from 2015 and 2021 lol
@@fernie5.0 It is fair as they are both units I've owned & I'm not compairing them, I'm just telling it like it is LOL. I'd never own another Polaris.

Got the 22 x3 max rr its a damn beast and i saved 10k over a pro r that u can’t do donuts in without blowing the motor 🤗

Can am does produce a superior product, and if you are determined to buy Polaris junk then please make sure to have a fire extinguisher handy.

The Turbo R replaced the Turbo S. Pro R is different platform for NA engine
Sweet I'm about ready to pull the trigger so this helped!
I have a lot more content on the x3 if you need any more motivation 😂
X3 is done about to be replaced. That rzr Pro R is a beast.
always canam
Hey fella's is anyone other than me waiting on part from brp maverick x3ds turbo rr not charging.
Good Video 👍
Appreciate it!

I believe it is governed at 90mph
For the xrc ?
