And there's nothing sexual about it, either. In the end the npc and my pc had a long, educating conversation where he helped her to sort this feeling out, before explaining to her why he cannot accept her romantic love. He then told her that he loves her as a daughter regardless. It became an important character development moment for my character as the two settled with a father-daughter relationship. Sometimes a character can make morally ambiguous choices… but it's all about consent with dm/other players and making sure the player and the character is separated. I get my character art the proper way: by pestering any artist who puts up a "open for commissions" sign up at comicons. I've had quite a few "I was NOT expecting someone to pay me to draw that" responses, but at least I didn't use AI :) I now need to write a story where the evening news randomly explains why a group of nerds are naked in the back rooms of a pizza shop. The DM in the last story is utter scum for enabling that weird stuff. Problem play is scum too of course.
Do they understand that in the setting where food is not as abandunt as nowadays, many girls probably wouldn't have their periods started at 15. My periods started almost at 15 and wasn't regular till 16 and I even wasn't especially skinny.
I always love seeing jokes made at Ai's expense. Its insulting that so many people would rather use ai for artwork or writing over a actual human. Not that Ai itself is terrible, there are some good uses for Ai after all, but its not meant to be used over human artists and writers. Especially not when it is used for things like Godzilla butt art.
At most it should be used for a foundation or as to spark ideas. And then work from it if one wants to go for that route. Because using it to make complete art is just disrespectful
Part of the problem in the last story is that you're ascribing modern human values to a game world from another time, place, and with other races. Some of the races in D&D are considered full adults at 15 (in 5e, half orcs and dragonborn are two examples) while others aren't adults until they're 100 (5e elves), 5e shifters meanwhile are adults at 10! (So that 40 year old shifter is even older than we'd think of as a 40 year old.) By default, all characters are considered to be adults for their race (though you can make them whatever age you want) which is why we don't have to RP a scene with a bartender checking IDs every time a PC orders an ale. So without knowing the race of the ranger character, we can't really say their attempt to romance the shifter is inappropriate. Of course even if the race of the ranger was one that makes 15 an adult, that's still similar to an 18 year old girl pursuing a 50 year old man, so while not wrong it's still unusual. (Humans are adult at 18 and live to about 80. Shifters are adult at 10 and live to about 70, so they have roughly the same adult lifespan, which shifters just being the equivalent of 10 years "older" than the same human age.) EXCEPT of course for the whole "It was clearly unwanted" and "SA" parts. I think we can all agree that's very inappropriate.
I have been a longtime watcher of DND horror stories through the likes of Crispy’s Tavern and Den of the Drake. I have had some experience as a player and always thought of cool ideas I could try out for my own story. So I recently decided to DM my second campaign! What happened to my first one? Well then boy do i have a story for you! It is full of all your favorite things; from attempted unwanted romance, a thieving murder hobo, and a min-maxing power player. Enjoy!
It has been a year or so since these events so I will try to recall the events as best I can. The names are changed for privacy for our cast: I planned this game to have a total of 4-6 players since I was a newbie DM, but ended up having a total of 8 players due to a surprising number of friends being interested and being so eager to join i felt bad saying no. So after a long time of figuring out scheduling we finally had a day we could have session 1. Chris let us host at his house and we began session. I gave the infamous tavern intro with the call to adventure being the request of a noble for the investigation of a disruption in the nearby dwarven mines for a hefty reward. I then introduced each of the party members and asked what their characters were up to in the tavern. Here began the chaos of trying to interpret and talk with each party member, every single player began talking at once either to me or eachother, making it hard to keep track of everything. But I did my best to pay attention to each party member and their actions. They had a arm wrestling competition, partied with the other patrons, joined in a band and drank themeselves silly in game and a little out of game. This took literal hours to go through, but the party seemed to be loving my descriptions and roleplay with the npc’s but finally I felt it was time to move the story forward a little by stating “as the night goes on the bar clears and the barmaid approaches all of you.” She says “Your esteemed noble will meet with you in the morning, he has made accommodations for you all to stay the night here, he also said your drinks and meals shall be paid for as an advance on your reward.” With that the players wrapped up in some minor roleplay and began to talk more so out of game. Little did I know that when we returned that my campaign would crumble before my very eyes.
The problem with this stuff isn’t the age gap, it’s the fact that someone in the situation is a child. 50x30? Totally fine. 14x30? I’m calling the cops, I’m calling the cops, I’m calling the cops!!!!!!
Not going to dm any time soon so plz steal this idea - prank is using minor illusion to make someone think u pulled someone's pants down, real joke is how ppl react to it, are they shocked at 1st or nonchalant "when did I put undies on??", is the one whos pants are being pulled down even aware & walk away. Choose ur own adventure ppl
Okay what the fuck on that last story? The player is awful & should have been ejected but the DM is just as bad for allowing that shit. if a player sends a private message about drugging & r*ping another character then you text them back "hell no" & tell them to leave.
God help you if you try to find a character token and the result is from "craiyon". That is shit that would make you think you're looking at a Great Old One
Not just a non-problematic bard, but a non-problematic bard that was still upfront about their flirtations. Plus the problem player not being homophobic toward the openly gay flirty bard.
After hearing that whole AI thing I gotta rant a bit. Our gm also uses AI in his campaigns, like whole generated backgrounds and also character portraits. I can't really help with the backgrounds BUT I can do the portaits. For free btw. Last campaign I just asked everyone for character descriptions and did one for each. However, the gm decided to still use the AI, which didn't look like the characters AT ALL. Our bear-human had cat ears ffs. And the worse thing is- he can also draw. So we have two artists in the group, but he just keeps using AI instead, even though requesting the portraits would cost nothing. This time I only did portraits and a few stickers for my boyfriend and I, because I know I would do it for nothing and it really frustrates me to see the butched AI version of my character instead of my own that looks NOTHING like him
So there's numbered Crispy doctors, Crispy lore expanded! Might explain how they've achieved cloning... but hopefully not all the Dr. Crispys are like *that*
My current DM in an online game generated all of the images for our player tokens and it really irks me. I’ve been looking for artists to draw player busts since our session 0 but I also don’t want to overspend going into Christmas

14:15 see this is why I call them the GM, even in D&D
We need an update on the pregnant girl. Is it a half wolf or a quarter wolf quarter man hybrid, oh the possibilities.
I mean, I think a Human and a Shifter would make a Shifter baby?
1:25 - I tried googling an image of a tiefling a few days ago, 90+% of all the images on Google were AI slop…..
Aztecross jumpscare yet again!!
I wonder if anyone did any introspection after the “romance” and then the barbarian never returned
I get my character art the proper way: by pestering any artist who puts up a "open for commissions" sign up at comicons. I've had quite a few "I was NOT expecting someone to pay me to draw that" responses, but at least I didn't use AI :)
I now need to write a story where the evening news randomly explains why a group of nerds are naked in the back rooms of a pizza shop.
That last story is a WHOLE different level of fucked up, brah. DMs are supposed to stop that shit, not enable it.
Are we going to get a Crispy clone prison? Crispy FBI?
I have an age gap romance in my Pathfinder game... because my elf is dating the barbarian it's not a disgusting pseudo "incense" thing
i use the art from card games like mtg and heartstone for my dnd games. its so good and its not ai ... mostly ... wotc ....
Oh, yay! It's the inverse of the creeping stepdad story...
When I saw the title of the avatar story, I thought it was going to be about character art or something.
Early to a crispy video! :D First rounds on me!
Shifters are adult at 10 and live to about 70, so they have roughly the same adult lifespan, which shifters just being the equivalent of 10 years "older" than the same human age.)
EXCEPT of course for the whole "It was clearly unwanted" and "SA" parts.
Last story should have ended at drinking bear, that would have been funny.
0 views in 44 seconds you drop off. /jk
How many Crispies are we up to now?
Your comment made me see a scenario like in Monsters vs. Aliens where Crispy is the Alien guy Xeroxing batch after batch of themselves.
Speaking of godzilla, whos ready to play godzilla in fortnite.
You said "Zaheer" about a moment before I could say it in reaction. Shame on the narrator for not nicknaming the player that, gender notwithstanding.
Would be an insult to Zaheer.
Age Gap
God help you if you try to find a character token and the result is from "craiyon".
That is shit that would make you think you're looking at a Great Old One
I hate that stuff. I think the sites auto upload the results.
I usually inpaint a lot to fix mistakes
@musicallyjames Yeah. Even the most AI poisoned tech bro would look at those from craiyon and think they're awful.
Why is Patrick panicking?
first????? hi crispy!!!
Eggs
1:25 the only appropriate response to an A.I bro.
Okay, so the third story had a non problematic bard?
What's next? A not lawful stupid paladin?
Not just a non-problematic bard, but a non-problematic bard that was still upfront about their flirtations. Plus the problem player not being homophobic toward the openly gay flirty bard.
@@ArcCaravan I know, right?
That's bloody wild.
Thank you for killing Dr. Crispy
- An artist
Age gap
Mind the gap.
Age😮gap
Age gap.
Just stop generating stuff period! Not an artistically inclined person but I do enjoy looking at art… that shit? Nah
I had a DM who did that for my character. Like, it couldn't have been hard to find a screenshot of a Nuka-Cola Vending Machine.
Bad art isn't suddenly better because it wasn't AI.
Okay? But all AI art still looks like garbage.
