@Pedro Neves....you're right. The other best video is Scott Dawson UA-cam video on this resort. It's hard to find dinner buffets videos at this resorts we're all staying at, but these 2 are the best. Another one that is good is the sister resort Riu Palace Cabo from UA-camr Bhanu's Kitchen Bhanu's Rasoi. She does a great job with that resort as well.

Great video! Very well done. I stayed at the Riu Dunamar in Cancun and I loved it. I will be staying at the Riu Santa Fe in Cabos Monday. I know it’s not as Luxurious as the Riu Palace but it’s still impressive. Thanks for this amazing video ☺️

@Travis Bell we don’t mind the resort food. Lots of options. There are some pretty cool places in the downtown too!! There’s all kinds of cool restaurants looking out over the marina! Mm so nice!! Do you have any favs downtown??
Where we going Next? Well I’ve been back home for a few days now. The trip was great, and much needed. With it being during Covid there were some bummers; no room service, no sitting at the swim up bars (but you can still swim and congregate, so it’s one of those optics things), and then having to wear a mask from time to time when going in the buffet and up to the counters to order something. I agree that the food is not excellent there, but it’s to be expected with all inclusive. Endless drinks and food is nice, and not having to think about how much each costs is also nice. We took a tour one day which was fun, and also went shopping and out to eat twice. The best meal I’ve probably ever had in my life was at JM’s Steakhouse in downtown Cabo by the marina. All in all, I would definitely go back again.

We never had any issues with the AC at this resort 🤷🏼♀️ Overall, the RIU Palace resorts (in Mexico) are consistently good resorts - not excellent. The recently built or renovated resorts are definitely better than some of the older ones. Since the pandemic, we have seen an overall lowering of quality all around - the food, the rooms, the experience 👎 that’s probably the case with a lot of resorts, but something we’ve really noticed 🫣
At 7:41 there are some chips in the back right corner just to the right of the multi-colored chips. I had these when I stayed there and want to buy some in the states. Anyone know what kind of chip they are? They seemed like really thick tortilla chips.
We will be there end of Nov and curious how Covid has changed things. My wife loves the fried Plantains and like most of what is there. I can overdo the warm donuts. Room rates are way down so we got the two level suite with the roof Jacuzzi for half of what we paid last time.
