i love this! i wish i could afford this. it was so disappointing that ticketmaster cancelled general sale since i didnt get presale. alongside the scammers and bots making this experience impossible for alot of us swifties. i am very happy you and ken got to experience this together though!
Also wanted to add that she usually won’t sing the choruses to some of her big pop songs (especially the ones during 1989 era) but she’s always singing the verses and the higher notes/backup vocals. I noticed this years ago but it never really bothered me especially since most other pop stars do it. However, I’ve never seen her not sing an entire song before and I’ve been a huge fan since her first album and watched almost every live performance of hers. My ears have been trained to hear when she’s singing or not singing during certain parts of a song lol. And if she is singing the choruses of her big pop songs (Shake It Off for example), she’s probably not projecting her voice as much which is understandable especially during a 3 hour concert.

OMG! This reminds me of trying to get tickets when my 3 girls were small to see Miley in the Best of Both Worlds tour. The Jonas Brothers opened & we saw them in Nashville, TN. My girls are now 25, 23 & 18. I waited & waited, but only paid regular price. I've been to lots of concerts & always purchased thru TicketMaster. I still have the merch the girls picked out!

So happy you guys got tickets! I agree, these prices for tickets are insane! I’ve seen her several times in the past. I live in Kansas, it’s 2 hours from where she’s going to play in July from me. I’m not going to go to it. I just bought a tour shirt online. 😂

I came from Toronto for the show!!! It was my 7th and I’ll be going to 10 total (lol don’t kill me)
In regards to those tickets on resell sites that don’t sell, apparently the scalpers buy ticket insurance on them and since the tickets don’t get scanned when they don’t sell them, the scammers can claim the cost on the tickets that don’t sell. They do this because they don’t want to drop the price and set a precedent (and devalue other shows). It sucks :(

My most expensive concert I’ve been to is My Chemical romance. Such amazing band, atmosphere was unreal and the people watching was incredible 😂

I went to Taylor Swift's Reputation concert in Denver, Colorado. She was amazing and she sang for at least 3 hours. It was so worth it!!! I don't know how much my ticket was. No regrets for seeing her in concert at all!!!!💕 Glad you got tickets!!!💜

I would be lying if I was saying I wasn’t jealous. I wish there was a way to prevent ticket scalpers. I was unable to go this time but hopefully I will be able to go sometimes in the future 😔 ❤️
I 100% agree but I believe that the ticket apps like Ticketmaster allow the bots to buy the tickets because when they resell them they get huge fees. We paid $500 in fees for the tickets! It’s all a scam.

if you research it a bit they say its typically for all artists to take breaks at certain parts of their songs. i felt like I could tell sometimes when her voice changed. Some say it would be merely impossible for an artist to sing 3 hours without stopping at any point. She only took at most 2 minute breaks for costume changes. It isn't a negative thing - we have seen artists do this before at concerts. However we were saying it appeared as though she was singing LIVE 95% of the time, which is incredible
@@OurFamilyNest So you can absolutely prove that she sang 95% of the time? Or are those just your thoughts? Because I've been working in music journalism for 19 years, and I can definitely say that If a professional singer is trained enough, and have stamina and huge experience, they can absolutely pull off a 3,5 hour show live with slim to none breaks. Considering how highly respected in the industry musicians (such as Lin-Manuel Miranda or Aaron Dessner, etc) speak about Taylor and her work ethic and talent, it's very rushed to make such conclusions about her with no actual facts.
Well when I say “it appears” - that is my opinion. Not a known fact. I don’t think anyone knows for a fact other than Taylor and her team. I was saying what I’ve read and what I witnessed. That’s all. 🤷🏻♀️
