I've just had a bit of decade-long fridge logic. Okay, here goes. In the bad future of Sonic CD zones we see the locations where Dr RoEggbotnikman has won and they are polluted wastelands of industrial deterioration. So, the good futures show the scenario where Robotnik has been defeated. Should this not be the other way round? With Eggman gone, shouldn't the industrial areas of the good futures be the ones to fall into ruin, and the bad futures represent his active control over the areas? It only just occurred to me and I felt the need to share it with someone.

Actually the Bad futures were Robotic supposedly won, all their machines are damaged, specially in Stardust Speedway, were some Badniks look without maintenance, so it looks like in the bad future Sonic made Eggman's machines collapse, and so they are ruined, but in the other hand the machines and specifically plants coexisted, meaning probably egg man needed to produce more resources (as seen in the capsules filled with plants) and by destroying them its empire would end, so he needs to care them (Strange, isn't it?).
Eggman is unsustainable.
If let out of control, he would destroy everything and then, out of neglect or recklessness, himself.
@@Wyi-the-rogue Ooh! I like this answer! I suppose his own minions have turned on him enough times that simply being betrayed could do it too. I like your idea though, that his own endgame places himself in jeopardy.
@@Wyi-the-rogue That sounds pretty logic then, but I think that, looking at what he done at Angel island, he was more likely to get a power source. Commonly in games, or at least in 2 d the principal premise is Robotnik getting a big power, as the chaos emeralds, time stones, the master emerald, or the phantom ruby, and meanwhile he uses it he creates a central base (scrap brain zone, metropolis, metallic madness, or the death egg). So according to this, maybe in the bad future, after he gets what he wants from little planet, he gets out of it, and continue his project to conquer the world, leaving little planet in the control of few badniks that were left there, with all being distorted and abandoned.

The best way to describe the bad future part is it sounds like even if you defeated the final boss The World Is Still doomed you won this battle but you lost the War and you can do nothing about it
The only bad thing I would say about it personally is the quartz quadrant part it destroyed my ears i think it could be done better

@@skysmusicchannel5382 well imo present metalic maddness was like too much rap, less melody, too upbeat to be a last level, even for sonic franchise, its too much focused in the main tune, i think the past and futures are much better than the present
