Hi naturalshae!! Yay that’s awesome you have a school near you! I have a video coming out on this topic, next! So please stay tuned for it! It talks about registries and how to get registered. Is it super hard to do anatomy and chemistry in one semester through virtual learning? Or is it nearly impossible? What study tips you recommend with virtual learning?
Anatomy and chemistry together in one semester will truly test your study skills, especially with virtual learning. I’d say if you’re good at learning on your own, teaching yourself, in my opinion you could possibly do it. But anatomy and chemistry are both difficult classes and for me personally, I would keep them separate especially with virtual learning because I need someone to explain it super well to me. Ask yourself if you think you can handle it.. hopefully your professors are super helpful and you’re able to handle virtual learning. I just know I wouldn’t be able to, knowing what the classes entail. (But that’s just me!)
Study tips- definitely focus. Find a spot where you’re not distracted by anything. Keep the phone away/ stay studying as much as you can but in little increments. Our brains can only handle and retain so much information. I like to take little breaks in between studying. Also watching videos that explain things personally help me!
@@lolgeselle aww thanks so much. Virtual learning just feels like it will be very lonely and at times frustrating because you are all alone with the computer trying to figure a lot of things out..😩 how did you deal with being alone with all the virtual learning?
@@lolgeselle thanks so much I really was confused and needed to hear this from someone who went through it and knows the weight of each class)) definitely going to do anatomy by itself for now and drop chemistry until next semester) I wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone and finish prerequisites faster. @@Anonymous-bc6zl unfortunately I totally get what you mean about being alone. I’d say try to find people in your classes that are willing to help you study and communicate with them to see if anyone wants to create study groups. You’re all in this together. I also have a discord community where students talk to each other on the daily. The pandemic definitely has made things more difficult, but it is still doable! Believe in yourself and work hard. And when you need help, ask for it! 💕
Hey so I was wondering I've actually been doubling in this career for a little while now I actually have a pacemaker I've had it since I was like 2 weeks old so I literally had to go get my echocardiogram done every 6 months my whole life and this is the one career that has always interested me so my question is how much schooling did you go through and is it worth it do you love what you do is it really hard well I kind of know that's gonna be hard but is it like extremely hard And do you recommend it
I have a bunch of videos sharing that sonography programs are challenging, accelerated, and difficult. But they are doable. It can take anyone from 2-4+ years.
Honestly, they both are a LOT! People tend to think cardiac is easier because it is one organ, but that one organ does a LOT of things! Haha. As far as "easier" goes, echo and general both have their pros and cons. I love general. I'm sure if I learned echo I would love it too. But they both have their difficult days, difficult patients/ scans.. so it's really, do you want to scan the heart all day? Or would you rather scan a bunch of different exams?
Totally agree, sometimes I hate constantly looking at the heart all day, the other sonographers that work with me love doing vascular or general because it’s something different all the time. But it more On Call you will have to deal with
I will definitely say cardiac is not easy. It can be very, very challenging because the heart is always moving and changing. I obviously cannot speak for general, but I’m sure without a doubt it is also challenging! You just have to find your passion.
Thank you so much Taylor for telling your story and answering questions about echo! Congrats on everything you accomplished! You helped me tremendously on deciding echo being the right path for me. Thanks for being an inspiration!! 💖

A sonography discord?? How do I join
send me an email or DM on instagram!
How many parts to be a tech ? Sounds like more than one ?
Hi! I'm not sure what you mean by parts.
What is the pay like foe a new grad ?
It should be $25+ as a new grad but just depends on the city, location (hospital vs clinic) and type of job (per diem, full time, etc).
@@lolgeselle thank youuu ☺️
hey!! may i ask whats the discord? i would like to join 😇

Which one is easier to study, general or cardiac? Which one is easier to work as?

@@lolgeselle ohh thank you ...btw what's the benefit of doing MBA ? Will u please elaborate it
@@lolgeselle do the government provide any registration or license for this.?

Hi, Can you have visible tattoos ? I have a neck tattoo ?
yes you can! will probably need to be covered up as a student depending on your program
What study material did you use to study for the RDCS?! 😊
you can follow Taylor and ask her @Taylor.dovvnesy
So after the DMS program I can take the SPI. After that, can I chose RDCS or RVT etc..., correct?
Yes! You can choose whichever one depending on the track you chose in school! 🥰
