I love a lipstick based project, or blush based ones-- everyone's always working on eyeshadow, which is fine, or highlighters, which is futile 😆. It's inspiring to see lip products getting moved out. I have that same Nars pencil from the gift-- it just keeps going.
Sorry if that's a silly question... But when you went on your initial no buy, how did you feel at the time? Where you just sick of buying or wanting you use items up😅or all of it? I have been trying to be less obsessed w things and I think I really made progress over last year or so. Right now I'm feeling at a "weird" place. I'm feeling unwilling to buy and I really want to use my things and use items up. I've also been down sizing slowly and feel I'm really in the middle of being more simple and have less stuff. I still like make up and nice things though.. I just don't want to buy and not have clutter. Maybe it's stupid but I'm feeling a bit unsure where I am, what I should do next and how to be more in charge and proactive of this change in myself. It's more that I have this very strong gut feeling of downsizing and stop buying etc and less my head being sure what to do next... Like instead of my mind saying :let's be more mindful, shop less and less material it's my gut or whatever telling me to change. I wonder if anyone understands what I'm feeling 😅😅
I definitely go through phases - sometimes I'm overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I have, and I just want to declutter everything, but then when I see products that are appealing to me I can't help but desire them. I think it's normal to go back and forth!
For the nars lipstick, have you tried adding a bit of concealer before applying it to your cheeks ? That's what I do with cream cheek products that are too intense for me and it works wonders (also helps me use a concealer that I don't like haha)
Not sure if something changed I never really use lipgloss anymore I have 2 of tower28 ones but rarely use them and it’s been almost one year. Find myself reaching for lip balm or lip oil I just recently purchased. Don’t really do project pan but enjoy watching videos about it!
I think if next update you finish the nyx and the lipgloss you should roll in 1/2 products , otherwise you will only have the pink lip product the hard one and the depotted lipsticks 😅
I had that same Nars lipstick from Sephora, I ended up decluttering it at the beginning of the year but i also used it as a blush! 😅 Glad to know other people are also a little crazy and keep lipsticks for so long hahaha
I find these videos interesting. However I wonder whether people that are doing them are sticking to expiration dates. Or could they using expired make-up. Because so many bacteria can be multiplying in expired make-up. I personally would rather have a small make-up bag with non expired products. Rather than trying to pan expired skanky make-up yuk!
I think people can decide how closely they want to adhere to expiration dates! Most makeup expires eventually, but we definitely don't need to stick to the 1-2 year lifespan that eyeshadow palettes have, for example
You are soooo close on that T28 lipgloss…Keep going!!
Thank you!! Really hoping for just a few more weeks of use 🤞

working on eyeshadow and highlighter both feels futile!! I've maybe finished one eyeshadow and one highlight ever lol

I haven't done that! I've never tried mixing concealer and lipstick, I think because the idea of putting concealer on my cheeks feels weird lol
@@laralikesmascara it's really no different from using foundation haha
REVLON LIP BUTTERS?! you're brave for still using those!
Thank you 😅🙏

You should try to use the tower28 ones a bit before they expire!! they definitely don't have a long shelf life

You’re totally right, I’m just not convinced that I can finish them quickly haha
Maybe do a rolling style type
Ya that’s prob the best call! I’ll reevaluate in 2 months :)
That T28 gloss looks so good on you!
I swear it doesn’t look good by itself on my lips 😅

It's almost weirder when old products don't smell! Because then I feel like I can keep wearing them even if they have technically 'expired'
@@laralikesmascara absolutely!!! Like surely there’s nothing wrong with it 🫠
