@@EbefrenRevo Breakpoint was extremly buggy at launch, i know because i was a tester for the open and closed beta. The game was very rushed and too unfinished, that is why the game has so much negative feedback and reiviews.
How do Ubisoft games have such terrible stealth mechanics when Ubi were the ones who released the benchmark of stealth that is chaos theory? Its like they dont remember what they make.
@@jeckek9936 , Thief is the GOAT. The first SC is a better stealth game than CT is. SC3 was too easy, not to say it isn’t a great game; it’s just not the benchmark.
In future games I hope they give us the basics that were missing in breakpoint like being able to holster all weapons, more realistic less janky movements and more movements like leaning. Improved gun mechanics that look and feel more meaty and realistic an attention to detail for explosives and character cosmetics and options for player choice. More realistic combat no armoured enemy times that are Bullet sponges they aren’t fun and are just lazy attempt to make the game more challenging. Instead make the enemy’s alert higher when you go up in difficulties. They notice more and are more tactical when they pursue you. They flank and use cover. Also no permanent red explosive radius marker that can’t be turned off it ruins immersion, wouldn’t mind abseiling or team assisted elevation like them giving you a leg up so you climb over higher obstacles.
It'd be nice if they made a game where the vehicles are realistically damaged. Like if you smash a cement wall or tree it just crushes the engine and you can't drive anymore. Would make driving a skill with real stakes.
I played wildlands. I am currently playing breakpoint. Breakpoints story sucks but the gameplay feels so much better. Wildlands story was fine but i just didn't like that tropical scenery. It didn't feel like the original ghost recon to me. Anyways, story never mattered to me in ghost recon, the stealth and tactical gameplay does and i feel breakpoint has done that. Wildlands felt more like a farcry game to me. I guess it's just personal preference in the end, gotta respect both sides
Only thing better in wildlands is the map. If we were able to switch the maps from both games, there wouldn't be anything to argue about. Ps : before you say i haven't played both i have 220 hours on wildlands and 426 hours on breakpoint.
@@jarhead2808I've played both. Wildlands is much better to me In pretty much every area so maybe don't just state your opinion as fact. Breakpoint is a sterile, lifeless game and I just don't see the greatly improved animations and mechanics people are talking about. Graphics are slightly better and that's about it If Wildlands got a little graphical and frame rate update it wouldn't even be a contest, honestly.
I've played Wildlands and currently playing breakpoint haven't finished story mode yet but all I can say so far is that Wildlands might look shitty but the In game world of Wildlands just feels more alive which putting smile on your face and breakpoint graphics quality, shooting, running, mechanics customization are way better but the NPCs tho the way they behave like they're just dumb like I'm opening the cell where they were locked in, and instead of running away they're pulling out guns and starting shouting weird stuff like "they found us" and I'm like who they, they're all dead which kinda reminds me of Skyrim, I'm also disappointed In Ubisoft because they removed feature to holster your weapon like what if I don't want my character to carry weapons all the time what if I just want him to like walk like a regular person
Play with no HUD, or mission way points and without AI teammates, play with people, actually live in the world. Breakpoint with the Motherland Update, the excessive enemy drones turned off, limited healing w/ injuries, realistic stamina, stamina, extreme combat difficulty, and darkest night turned on while having to actually investigate, and figure everything out without the HUD and sync shot holding your hand is an entirely more immersive experience to me, and the Ghosts would never go stop Drug Cartels, where as they would go topple a private military corporation being swayed/controlled by a Rogue Ghost trying to take over/control all war. Loved Wildlands, but Breakpoint is so much more immersive to me. Wildlands may have NPC's that live in the world, but Breakpoint makes the player live in its world. That's without even mentioning the overall better camera (set it to close, so it doesn't change the fov rand distance regularly), gunplay(sniping felt better in Wildlands tho due to the bullet drop, but Breakpoit has every other weapon type beat), CQC, and camouflage.
There isn't immersive gameplay in Wildlands unfortunately , but i agree i do like Wildlands also . But man , you should try Breakpoint immersive game mode . It is a huge update from Ubisoft .
@@marjiba4303 of course . Remove all the icons from display , stash icon, radar , etc. There will be only you , your teammates and only tactical skills :) I do encourage you to try immersive mode
My favorite moment in Breakpoint is when I assaulted a base to speak to an important npc who was being held captive, talked to her, did the objective and she was just standing outside with all the guards respawned. So immersive. Wow.
I enjoyed both games. But to me wildlands overall was a bit more enjoyable. I'd find myself playing for hours and not really doing anything but exploring but I liked how wildlands actually had villages and towns and I guess it just felt a little more realistic. Breakpoint, gameplay wise, I liked the prone camo, and the ability to combat roll. I liked how when you got injured your character would start to limp and you have to bandage yourself. I felt like it had a lot of gameplay improvements. But the map felt empty. Their wasn't really any towns or villages just military bases. And so I found it not as interesting to explore as compared to wildlands.
The player movement in Wildlands is just so distracting for me. It's really off and once I learned to shift my focus from the character to the environment things started to get interesting.
For every step forward Breakpoint made, they made 2 steps back from Wildlands. Wildlands has replayability but Breakpoint..eh I spend most of the time checking out Gear combinations and then just turn it off
For everyone what plays wildlands on Pc with Nvidia GPU, if you want more graphics (If your Pc allow to you of course) enable the improvements of texture and cache from Nvidia control panel, and into the game, go to settings, sharpen up a bit and turn on the Nvidia grass, it going to add more quality to the screen, textures, Npc and foliage.
I like the Ghost Recon point more than 100 times. There are various weapons, clothes, and a wide map. The first was a bug mapped game, but now with an update, the game system has been improved.
How about put all mechanics from Breakpoint into Wildlands I like wildlands more but combat in Breakpoint is so good especially when you rolling behind covers or those knife takedowns
Breakpoint animation and mechanics and gr 2001 style squads and missions with wildlands atmosphere. Edit:and I want throwback dlcs featuring gr2001-GRAW-Breakpoint content/maps/skins. I want a plethora of skins and weapons ranging from woodland IBAs and OCIW/XM8s and every Jose Ramirez iteration to functional Crosscom variants(not just as cosmetics) to Wolves armor and santa Blanca stuff. So much about wild lands was better the environment and living world with your teammates and your Characters voice lines and conversations, there’s so many reasons why wildlands is amzing
We all know Breakpoint is the better game. Just wished they'd add all the things we loved about Wildlands into Breakpoint. The civilians driving cars, Radio station, your Squad talking about current events, The ability to put away your weapons, environmental music, etc.
@@Conner06 you act like Wildlands didn't have any of those things lame as launch, buggy and Stupid Ai that just rush you blindly just because one Ai detected you, Completely breaking Physics, Lame DLC's Narco roads, Super Armor where you gotta play the entire game without dying to unlock, and the Shitty ending. Wildlands only had a ONE! DLC that was worth it. at least in Breakpoint you can change the difficulty by taking the gear level off, Carrying one weapon, how often to injury you can get, Carrying two or three weapons, Squad on and off, Instant detection if you're spotted by enemies, how much health you can carry, enemies with stronger body armor, camouflage, proxy mines, etc. None of that was in Wildlands. Fallen Ghost was the closest to Breakpoints Immersive mode. (which you can play in ANY of their DLC.) Drone balance? was fixed, Graphics? we clearly saw Breakpoint won that no contest, braindead AI? that's been fixed for the most part. get past all that and its clear Breakpoint is better.

The jiggle physics on some of the items hanging off of Breakpoint backpacks is super weird. That's the whole reason why Breakpoint pushed me toward using the CamelBak.
@@SpectreStatus Agree on the movement animations, but you’ve clearly never played Breakpoint on higher graphics settings. Terrain texture is a lot more crisp, the ambience gives off a freaky vibe with the low hanging fog everywhere. Grass actually moves with the wind when it’s blowing, rain drop effects actually look like they’re hitting your character. Certain soft ground like snow, sand, and mud track your movement through them due to body weight pressing down. The only thing Breakpoint didn’t improve upon or even receive from Wildlands was that same soft terrain feature above also working for grass.
The Wildlands, felt like you was in an country in civil war, with rebels and a corrupt government (every country have), while breakpoint feels quite non sense, because there's robots, there's too many advanced weapons, dude i feel like i am playing The Divison sometimes, so i think they should had made breakpoint on a more urban location, like Ukraine or something, instead of an desolated island, with robots and sci fi technology, that breaks the immersion, and sometimes makes me ask myself "i am in 2039?". Some features from Wildlands should had come to Breakpoint, like holster your weapons, NPCs with life, and radio.
just did the same thing and even though i can only run it at 50fps, its SO worth it story missions are a little annoying i do reccomend turning off as much hud as possible, namely the mini map since u can always check for loot on the big "M" map
I really want a remake of Wildlands using the new tech from breakpoint. I haven't played wildlands but I have played breakpoint. I'm not a fan as the combat just seems subpar compared to Arma 3 and Squad. I feel bad for people who are restricted to only playing with 4 people. Consoles have a hamstring on this franchise. Imagine a 16 man raid on a compound. Or a 32 64 man conquest where people are running ops all over the AO and you can join in on missions or get sent to rescue other teams operating nearby. Or providing overwatch while a team assaults a position. Or dropping a team off so it feels more immersive than having to land yourself or skydive from a helicopter that crash lands upon exit. The game needs to go in a new direction but I don't think they have the military minds to get it there.
Wildland got an addictive gameplay that i couldnt find in breakpoint. I forced myself to finish it in opposite to wildlands that i replayed so many times.
@@PotatoesPotatoPotato it has a limit Better graphics used to mean better games back in 80s or 90s. But at certain point, better graphics didn't grantee the quality of the game. Some says HALO CE is the best and some says it's HALO2 and of course HALO3 has a lot of fans too. But none of these guys think HALO 4 and 5 are better than those old games. Wildlands has the better world environment but breakpoint beats it in most other aspects for instance the stealth in breakpoint is incredible especially in darkest night mode….. The way Nomad moves and crouches in breakpoint is much better because the camera moves more freely. In Wildlands the camera is stuck behind Nomad when crouched or prone, so what this means is if you hear someone behind you then you’ll have to turn Nomad around to have a look
For Ubisoft to be a billion dollar company, the attention to detail is abysmal. Driving mechanics are not good. The stiffness in the characters are insanely noticeable. Weapon sounds need to be a lot better. So much potential. These games could be the greatest third person shooters ever, if they pay attention to the little details. The engine these games run on are crap compared to other AAA titles. I just wish Konami gave MGSV more time in the oven so that i dont have to deal with ubisoft's mediocrity, because mgsv is a masterpiece when it comes to attention to detail.. especially with the enemy ai
I am arguing that the larger things are why the games are worse than they should be. Little things are powerful, but they won’t make the average and sub-par gameplay better.
What about enemy types (in terms of quality and variety),vehicles, story (paid ones excluded) and overall any thing free in breakpoint, the thing that wildlands has the upper hand in is the world and how they are quick in showing you everything while breakpoints takes a while for you to know every single thing the game offers (20 hours or something like that to know everything the game offers)
Add the customization from breakpoint and some of the gameplay mechanics (and I mean some) and you have a perfect game…wildlands over breakpoint anyday

Yeah, because Ghost Recon was a tactical shooter franchise, a lot of the fans don't like gear levels, bullet sponge enemies, etc. They fixed Breakpoint considerably since launch too.
Different teams.
Chaos Theory is not the benchmark of stealth. As, someone said, Ubi Paris is not Ubi Montreal.
@@Go_Coup Outside of the original Thief series, nothing comes close to SCCT
@@jeckek9936 , Thief is the GOAT. The first SC is a better stealth game than CT is. SC3 was too easy, not to say it isn’t a great game; it’s just not the benchmark.
Splinter cell double agent or metal gear should be the benchmark tbh
Wildland's environment + breakpoint's immersive mode would be perfect
Wildlands environment, story + breakpoint gameplay mechanics and graphics
Also take out the drones and make the enemies more difficult and better ai
It'd be nice if they made a game where the vehicles are realistically damaged. Like if you smash a cement wall or tree it just crushes the engine and you can't drive anymore. Would make driving a skill with real stakes.
It would be annoying asf too.
I find it strange how most people saying breakpoint is better follow up by saying they never played wildlands
Graphics are slightly better and that's about it
If Wildlands got a little graphical and frame rate update it wouldn't even be a contest, honestly.
@@jihigh482 sound design, animations and graphics are better in breakpoint. It's not a matter of opinion, It's a fact
BP win in gameplay and graphics. Wildlands win for story and fun
Same problem 😩
For some unknown reason i always loved Wildlands better. Already played it out 3 times, but i only played Breakpoint out 1 time and deleted it.
There isn't immersive gameplay in Wildlands unfortunately , but i agree i do like Wildlands also . But man , you should try Breakpoint immersive game mode . It is a huge update from Ubisoft .

Nah, bruh breakpoint is also good 👍🏻
So hard to be bored playing wildlands
Played both free trials for the 2 games.
Enjoyed Wildlands more.
Wildlands has real locations thats why it feels more alive and you like exploring it more and more..
the ambience in wild lands is miles ahead of breakpoint

Wildlands has replayability but Breakpoint..eh I spend most of the time checking out Gear combinations and then just turn it off
Good god yes. This happens more often than not when playing this game.

Same 😬❤️
Breakpoint animation and mechanics and gr 2001 style squads and missions with wildlands atmosphere.
All of it.
Wildlands has the same knife takedown than breakpoint.
breakpoint felts like we in training simulation or something but mechanics are so good compared to wildlands and difficulty setting is better in wildlands aswell. nevertheless i feel like a real deal commando in wildlands.
man if breakpoint had no drones(behemoths or those other little behemoths that sometimes are in bases), wildlands kind of story and wildlands kind of world(not empty more people in villages etc.)
I’m still playing GRW to this day. It’s my guilty pleasure. Just having fun.

So much about wild lands was better the environment and living world with your teammates and your Characters voice lines and conversations, there’s so many reasons why wildlands is amzing
Breakpoint has better graphics, but wildlands beautiful views
We all know Breakpoint is the better game. Just wished they'd add all the things we loved about Wildlands into Breakpoint.
The civilians driving cars, Radio station, your Squad talking about current events, The ability to put away your weapons, environmental music, etc.

@@Wilsonmotors45 corny terminator game lmfao. Horrible drone balancing, blobby graphics, braindead AI. boring world with one biome.

(which you can play in ANY of their DLC.)
Drone balance? was fixed, Graphics? we clearly saw Breakpoint won that no contest, braindead AI? that's been fixed for the most part. get past all that and its clear Breakpoint is better.

Simple, Breakpoint have the best gameplay and graphics, Wildlands have the best map and atmosphere
nomad in wildlands stands upright like a regular human being, nomad in breakpoint has his neck broken
On Wildlands, the way Nomad wears his backpack looks like a kid going to school lol
Bruh, u nailed it 😂😂😂
The jiggle physics on some of the items hanging off of Breakpoint backpacks is super weird. That's the whole reason why Breakpoint pushed me toward using the CamelBak.
Wildlands has better character models, better movement animations. Nomad has some cute movements even.
Now imagine if Ubisoft decides to make an game about Post Apocalyptic survival with some mechanics from both games, DUDE THIS WOULD BE SO COOL
Music is a big time missing point in breakpoint… wildlands some of the greatest music of games

The game needs to go in a new direction but I don't think they have the military minds to get it there.
we should mail Ubisoft to release wildlands 2, lol

Better graphics used to mean better games back in 80s or 90s.
But at certain point, better graphics didn't grantee the quality of the game.
For example, Halo series was always one of the greates shooter games but fans argue which one is the best.
Some says HALO CE is the best and some says it's HALO2 and of course HALO3 has a lot of fans too.
But none of these guys think HALO 4 and 5 are better than those old games.
HALO 4 has made drastic advancement on graphics but why people don't like it?
Because the game was not fun to play.
New enemies were boring, story was lame etc...
Well.... cortana's big blue bobbies were great though.
I’ve spent many more hours on breakpoint, but there are still so many things I wish the game had. I hope they learn for the next ghost recon game, and take the best of both games.

Wildlands wins by a rock throw. All I wanna say is, that I like the Idea of a sequel, but they could leave whatever was in the first part and than just add other stuff to it in the second part. Story, teammate banter, enemy AI behavior > Wildlands
Gameplay, SFX, VFX, animations, gun & character customization, gun selection, map > Breakpoint
After playing Breakpoint I just can't get back to Wildlands. With the way the bullets travel slowly and guns having a very short effective range, Wildlands feels like an airsoft game. On the other hand the original story of Breakpoint (Episode 1) sucks, and the enemy AI act like robots by never sleeping or eating. At least the story content they put later made the game much better, with operation Motherland being the icing on the cake.

Once Ghost Mode entered Wildlands, there was no comparison. Wildlands is superior.
Idk guys, I just see breakpoint now and think to my self how other studios would be licking the fingers at this potential masterpiece.
