I was in the army back during the Trojan War. On the ride home we sailed past this little island where two women were singing so magically that the captain had me tied to the mast so I wouldn't jump ship. Pretty sure it was Nadine and Reeb.
I enjoyed this. Great harmonies. Not bluegrass? That's allowed. We had a banjo in our old time band - so we might get stuck at a bluegrass festival. Great music, but very different, with a different crowd!
I lived this life. Hard life and music was the only thing that was beautiful. I think the girl in the checked shirt looks very tired and maybe abused. I recognize the look.
Mountain music, bluegrass is only a label, for music that Bill Monroe commercialized in Kentucky. Stanley Brothers played mountain music, were lot of the songs were of Scot, and English origin.
