I’m seeing a huge negative response to this video and I’m sorry if you are one of the people that is being rubbed the wrong way. In my mind the majority of you knew that it was always the plan for Morgan to live with us while she found her footing in LA. Of course the initial conversation the three of us had about now being the time was off camera and Morgan was aware of the conversation we were going to have when the camera was rolling. Lately I’ve been trying more reality style videos on this channel and we all thought it was an interesting conversation to showcase, setting my sister and I up to make videos around her move while adjusting and making a life in LA. We coordinated our uploads today- on her channel she spent 24 hours in the apartment she’ll be living in which further shows that she was aware and okay with the videos we were making. I love this video and I stand by making it but I understand out of context you might feel as though I was over stepping boundaries. Just know that Morgan, Shane and I are very close and no one was blindsided or hurt by the making of this video rather we all enjoyed it.

i'm really not understanding the hate.. i personally think it was so sweet of ryland to step up as a big brother & try to prepare his sister for the real world. i completely relate to morgan when she was saying how if she's not basically forced to go out & socialize she won't, i'm the same exact way. ryland has her best interests at heart & doesn't want her to become complacent & stagnant. he wants to see his sister grow, progress, & be more independent as well as make some friends outside of their current squad. like i said, i relate to this & i wish that i had someone in my life like ryland that (lovingly) pushes me to be better, because most of the time i don't have that motivation & sometimes a little push can make a difference, & also i might not put the effort into changing it if i don't even see a problem & no one around me speaks up. people are acting like he just kicked her out & told her go fend for herself. he (& shane) offered that apartment, he's doing this at a time that he knows morgan is making enough money to live comfortably so she's not struggling, & he even said that if it doesn't work out she can always come back. i mean, what a sweet deal wouldn't you say?!

100% agree. He’s looking out for her like a big brother. Sometimes that does mean making someone go outside their safety zone to really grow as a person.
She is literally almost being given an apartment and having everything taken care of by Ryland and Shane... That is so much more support than any other young adults have moving away by themselves for the first time. I think it's fair and mature for Shane and Ryland to be wanting her to move out by now. She is an adult afterall, which means she is perfectly fine and can take care of herself :)

i just saw that people are mad and think ryland kicked out his sister and then did a brand deal on top of it. i literally didn’t even think twice about it because this one was LITERALLY my idea haha
here’s the truth tea on this:
the video was my idea. morgan has been wanting to move out for months but we have all just been too busy to do it and we love her being here so we haven’t rushed it. We talked about the video before hand but none of it was scripted which is why it’s awkward. Morgan wasn’t going to cry, she just doesn’t like being serious in videos so she didn’t know how to respond because she didn’t want to seem fake or scripted. i wasn’t mad at ryland, i was trying to be funny and I didn’t want the video to get too serious so i made jokes.
morgan is free to stay at my house as long as she wants. but i also know she’s ready to move out so i thought it would make a good series on rylands channel if they documented the journey. this was kind of the “pilot” for that. and i knew morgan wanted to do moving/ redecorating vlogs so i thought now was the perfect time.
it might be my fault for leaning too much into the “reality show” format. i love rylands channel because i can try new things and he’s always down to experiment. him and morgan love watching keeping up with the kardashians so i thought it would be fun if they tried their own version on his channel. something real but also based on their brother/sister drama. i felt like people haven’t fully seen their dynamic as siblings so i thought it would be cool to see that. clearly it came across the wrong way and i feel bad that i encouraged it. We are 100% real people but sometimes we tend to amp up our characters for entertainment and the line gets blurred. we all love each other so fucking much it’s insane.

Antisocial, stays in my room as much as possible, often settles for 'good enough' so I don't have to branch out and take chances, and as that type of person, I would love to have a Ryland in my life. I’m 25 and I can understand where the negative response is coming from. I’m not in the same housing situation as Morgan but I can relate in a sense. My 30 year old brother and his friends are my main social group, I don’t have many other options outside of them, but I’m okay with that. I’m happy being with them. If they were pressuring me to find new friends I would feel very unwanted and hurt.

But honestly, most of previous comments were just a words of criticism. People wrote that this is strange that this vid. was sponsored. I totally get this video. As someone who actually has a younger sister (who I’ve been living with for 18 months now) I understand where Ryland is coming from. Sometimes the people we love need a little push out of their comfort zones and it’s not an easy thing to do but it’s necessary.
I can tell that he cares and I’m sure he wouldn’t have make this video if she wasn’t comfortable doing it.

Moni Oni I had to learn the hard way. I was in care and I was a spoiled brat. Literally rolling in money. I moved in with a really close family remember that broke it down for me and showed me how to be responsible and independent and I’ll never forget what they did for me. For this, Morgan will probably have respect for her brother until the day she dies, the people against this are all probably living comfy at home with parents without a single care or other people who just don’t wanna be independent and want babied all their lives😂

I am very similar to Morgan in the sense that I can stay in a room for months, isolated, unless forced to leave. & I’m content with that. I am still productive and attend college and get my shit done. I don’t think being okay with being “alone” should have a negative connotation. Some people don’t care to be surrounded by tons of friends: introverts, if you will. It’s just her personality. No negativity towards this video at all. She’s your sister I’m sure you want the best for her. I love all of you guys’ videos. I just felt like I could relate & just my personal opinion.
