This week she continues her journey along the Nile river on board the luxurious Sanctuary Sunboat.
Starting in Dendera, the best preserved of all of Egypt's ancient temples. The Temple of Hathor is the most impressive building in the complex, with its grand entrance, detailed carvings, and of course its colour, still vivid after thousands of years.
Later on, Catriona explores Edfu, Egypt's second largest temple, uncovered in the 1860's. It's also known as the Temple of Horus, the God to whom it is dedicated.
