Honestly, it is surprising to me that Novak has never won gold at the Olympics. Particularly with his form in 2016, you would've thought Rio was his 'golden' opportunity.

      Un lucky draw for Novak.

Somewhat. But Tokyo 2020/2021 was his greatest opportunity. He destroyed the entire field and was 3 games away in the semis before collapsing and then collapsing in the 3rd place play-off.

We will see how much of a player Novak is in the final. Alcaraz' game is very obvious. Novak should be able to handle this match. Novak is not physically incapable of beating Alcaraz. Simply used ineffective strategy at Wimbledon and Carlos on grass benefits from quick grass surface.

He is, and he'll be amongst tennis immorality of winning everything possible in the sport if he wins Gold. He's already guaranteed at least a Silver medal too so he's basically already won everything or made the finals at every major event.
