I have one of those great clocks just had it mended after 25 years not slightly different face and bezel colours.

I have one right here. Smiths K6A. It strikes & chimes work. So does clockwork. However the verge seems all wrong and time chain won't escape but is otherwise free. I need to see that verge piece and the impulse faces in particular . This one seems wrong to me. Entry/Exit faces. Can you help? A photo of the verge I cannot find one anywhere.
Nice video. Good enthusiasm from you. What accuracy do you get over the week? Your pendulum has a weak swing. It could be marginally out of beat. In first instance try raising the case slightly at left then right foot. Eighth to thee sixteenths inch to see if beat is better. If it is, take a note of which way and by how much. Half a degree is enough to throw it. Then check the suspension spring. No sharp bends or splits, cracks etc. Ideally flat. Then there's a screw to change the pendulum lock on the verge shaft. The minute hand needs attention and the hour hand looks off. It's a friction fit to the hour arbour. Careful!
