I love the show! I just wanted to Say Thank You Ben! You changed my whole life. In 2009 at the AFC Championship I told by friend I was tailgating with, if the Steelers won the Game I was going to go to Tampa and Tailgate at the Super Bowl. Well the Steelers Won and I packed up my whole life into a Storage unit and took everything that would fit in my car. I drove to Tampa and had one of the greatest weeks of my life. The Steelers Won the Super Bowl and I stayed in Florida. Over a decade later and I am still here, I found my soul mate, bought a house, and my son was born here. You gave me the push I needed to take a chance and I will forever be grateful. Thank You!
I love it but I have a big favor (like this if you agree) can yell do the podcast during a steelers game so we can get Ben live reaction and opinion as well as the discussions yall have queued up. As a steelers fan I would love that. Thank you for the great content
My mom was at the game that Ben tore his elbow in 2019. I remember watching it on television immediately thinking "Oh my god is this it? Did we just see the last of Big Ben on a football field?" So glad we got another 2 full seasons of 7. Will never forget his final regular season games, the win against the Browns in the last ever game at Heinz Field, and the following week just barely beating the Ratbirds in Baltimore to send us to the playoffs. THANK YOU 7, gonna be sad not seeing you out there on Sunday
Hi Ben and Spenc, we love Footbahlin'! My husband and I have been watching your show and want to say thanks for putting this together. We have a specialty beer to suggest you try some time; we had this one while we watched episode 2! It's by Shipyard Brewing Company and it's called Smashed Blueberry, a hybrid between a Porter and a Scotch Ale. We know Ben isn't much for Porters, but this has a great taste.
QUESTION FOR BEN, give me your best dream team starting offense of Steelers players you have played with by position!!! Love the channel! Can’t wait for episode 3!!!!
He won’d do this b/c he is careful not to make any of his teammates feel slighted…. But I sure would love to hear his picks. Maybe he can invite us over for an OFF THE RECORD list 🤣😂🤣😂😂
Love the show!! I just found this channel today. Thanks for the great memories in Pittsburgh Ben. Loved watching the games over the years. One of the greatest. Definitely gonna binge watch the rest and subscribe to this channel 👏👏
Love the pod!!!! Been a fan since grade school and grew up with Ben as the Steelers QB for 18 years!!!! Bought tickets to his last home game as soon as he announced and worked my way up behind the Steelers bench with my thank you ben poster to be the first one he high fived as he went around the stadium to thank the fans!!! A memory I truly will never forget!!! Thank you Ben for 18 years and a night I will always remember!!!
Ben you are amazing I’ve been a Steelers fan my whole life and you are my favorite player thank you for giving the Steelers all those great years have a great retirement
Big Ben is a top 5 qb of all time and I will argue that for the rest of my life. That guy was the best late game, 2 minute drive qb I have ever seen play. Never give up mentality. I grew up watching Ben and how he is with his family I'm 32 with 2 daughters he has been such a role model for me really hope I get to meet the man someday and shake his hand
Love the podcast!! Just wanted to thank you for 18 great years, you gave us fans and the team everything you had, putting your body and health on the line, and I appreciate everything whether we won or lost, I knew that you and your teammates left everything out on the field. Looking forward to these podcasts, and opening up about your experiences on and off the field.
Awsome show!!! It's good too see you in this space. You spoiled steelers nation for 18yrs. If it was the last possession of the game and we were down with the ball in your hands, there was never any doubt that we would win. Thank you for the memories and I look forward to listening and watching the podcast.
This is a fun podcast. Two friends just hanging out. Ben is really personable. For Ben, what moments, or games stick in his mind the most, whether they were wins, or losses. Great job Ben and Spence!!
I think it would be cool to hear Ben dissect famous, (or favorites of Ben’s) plays like his super bowl winning TD pass. Great job boys keep them coming!🖤💛🏈🤟✌️
I will watch all of these, Big Ben has been in my life since my first year out of highschool. Im 37 a life long Steelers fan. Its weird that i wont be seeing you on Sundays, but yea this is cool too. Cheers!

The series during the surgery made me love Big Ben even more He is a great Dad and husband The obstacle course reminded me so much of my husband. That’s the real stuff!
Really enjoying these episodes! Spence you're doing great with this thing. Question for Ben: During the Thursday night broadcast they referred to the "Roethlisberger pump fake" Josh Allen made before he ran one in for a touchdown. Do you think Josh Allen resembles a lot of the positive characteristics and traits you had during your career?
I am so glad I came across channel 7!!! Am really enjoying Footbahlin'! Cannot wait to see every episode. Seriously.. Love You Ben! And the more I learn, the more I love!! God bless you and your beautiful family! You're doing awesome as a husband and father!!! Thanks for everything you do, on and off the field!!! Love the show guys! Ben, love that Coach T is getting a little more love from the national media. Can you share a story or two about Coach T that we the public might not know that shows why he’s such a great coach?
QUESTION FOR BEN: What was probably the most hostile crowd you can remember playing in front of? (Like from a specific game, or just anytime you went into a specific team's stadium knowing it was gonna be a rough crowd)
Great job guys. It's always good to hear about the behind the scenes stuff as well as your current adventures. thank you for sharing. Ben would you be willing to talk about the police dogs that you support. This has always been impressive and I'm grateful for you doing it!
I’m Already looking forward to these! Yinzers are doing a Great Job! I really Enjoy the relaxed setting. Almost feels like we are sitting with you and part of the Convo. Keep up the Great work! Its great to hear from you on a more personal level Ben.
Question for Ben: How does it feel to be the only quarterback ever featured in a Batman movie? Can you tell us About your experience on set? Please, we are all dying to know! Great pod fellas.
for the Beer segment, It would be great to see an honorable mention to Rolling Rock. Brewed in Old Latrobe for a long long time. Since it was sold to Anheuser Bush and brewed in New Jersey, it's not the same but still a long lived Pittsburg tradition. Love the show! Spence is doing an amazing job.
Love the show, my dad was a HUGE Ben fan he passed away 6 years ago he told me he wants to be laid to rest in #7 jersey so he was, now he's wearing ur jersey for eternity God bless u and ur beautiful family.. first ballot HOFer.
Keep doing your thing my man… this is a podcast I was looking for for the longest time… Just guys doing their jobs and loved and just having a place to be themselves..
This has quickly become one of my favorite shows. It’s great to watch you two just chill and talk. Something I would like to ask Ben about is how his relationship with AB changed so much in 2017/18 before he left Pittsburgh? Once again, I love the show, keep it up.
Question for Ben: Tell is a bit about the game that you came off the bench after Landry Jones got hurt and absolutely decimated the Browns. What injury were you dealing with and what was going through your mind when you had to strap up and go in when you weren’t supposed to be playing?
Question for Ben, Ben im from Brazil, and i don't need to say that we love you and we cried a lot at that game against the Browns, did you know that you and the Steelers have a huge fan base here??????
hahaha I'm loving this series so much. And as a huge craft beer guy, its hilarious to watch them try barleywine. It'll slap you in the face if you arent prepared for it. I really hope you guys get some imperials on here, thats some good heavy stuff!
Love the show and such a different perspective from you Ben. You definately are a grounded and humble person. It's Great to see you so relaxed. I can't wait for the day when you are inducted to the HOF! Enjoy Ben and Spence!
Ben you are my favorite player ever. I literally grew up rooting for 7. I remember family and friends. Talking brady and manning. I always told them. I'll take 7. Last drive of the game for sure 7! Thanks for everything u did you the steelers! Question tho! What's you're favorite hobby? Hunting? Fishing? What's 7 doing now days
LOVE this show!! Great hearing Ben's stories. Two beers that you need to try on the show 1. The Hairy Eyeball from Lagunitas Brewing company out of Petaluma, CA🍺🍺🍺🍺 2.Zombie Aduckalypse from Able Baker Brewing out of Las Vegas, NV🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Im glad u didnt just disappear in the smoke and are doing things like this to stay involved with your fans. Its hard to lose a Player like you that we've cherished for so many years. So thanks for doing this. It makes it easier for us not seeing u on Sundays. Your a great dude. And beautiful father and husband. Love the show.
Its só good to see Ben light, talking with the fans, i hope that some day he answer me, but im happy to see him on this way, just enjoy Ben, like we did with you for years.
These shows are so much fun!! Ben, I realize Renegade is played when the D takes the field, but how much does it really pump up the team when it’s played ?
Loving the podcast. Can someone explain who Spencer is? Good buddies? Family? I gotta know because he’s got the dream job podcasting, watching football, and drinking beers with our #7 legend. Ben thanks for waving to me at training camp back in 2014 brother!
The Cantaloupe had a good color to it. You said there was a slight mint taste at the end. I was wondering how sweet The melon was. Also I like to put Garlic cloves in my homemade pickles. You might already do that I don't know. I just didn't notice any in the jar . Thanks for another Enjoyable show once again. Ben, I think you're on to something with the vegetables. I think it would be a good idea if each week you continue to incorporate something from your garden into the show. You've done it on your 1st too just keep rolling with it. It's one of my favorite parts of the Shows.
Ben I have been Steelers fan since I was 7 years old am 60 now so makes me fan of 53 years and your 18 years at qb were just the best when you came in as a rookie and went 15-1 and we went thru so many qbs after Terry thinking we wouldn’t ever have a great qb then you came along and as a fan gave me the most enjoyable 18 years the way you extended plays was unlike no other and how you just threw receivers open just couldn’t be defended! Your first Super Bowl win I was only 1 month recovering from major 4 way open heart and I just went so crazy my wife thought I was gonna have a heart attack You we’re the best Steelers qb ever even Terry says that! And how you promised Jerome to comeback 1 more year and you would get him that ring and you did and it was in Detroit and he went out a champion was my favorite Steelers Super Bowl win! You were such a leader and so respected by your guys then I was at your last game with Browns and fans showed you how much you meant to them it was craziest atmosphere I had ever seen I had no voice for 5 days and to my suprise I was overcome with emotion and cried like a baby as did all the fans around me you just brought us fans more than any other ever has! Was cool to watch you come in as young college kid then your growth as a leader and your faith as a Christian then becoming a role model as Husband and a father and an awesome family man! You are a Steelers legend unlike any other will ever be wanted to see you play for few more years and get another ring and think you would of but was glad you chose to retire on your own terms and after gave it thought was glad u did so you are healthy enough to enjoy and play with your kids and spend time with Ashley and be able to do what you love in hunting and golfing. My niece from uniontown went to college with your wife her name is Andrea King not sure of her maiden name. It’s so different not having you out there it’s gonna take a long time to adjust to it but I really like Kenny Pickett and can’t wait till he starts he needs to be out there now but Tomlin knows what he’s doing s o am sure he knows right time for him too would loved to see you out there with this group of receivers you would take them to Super Bowl win Was so dissapointed with how AB crashed and burned I blame it on Burfict hit he wasn’t same since He ruined having you two together for another 4 years you guys would of made records that would never be broke your 6 years together was best qb receiver duo ever will be I hope he gets his head straight and eventually calls you to apologize to you and make things right you didn’t deserve that and you handled it all more professionally and with class then anybody ever would have Mad respect for you and you will always be my favorite steeler ever! Love the podcast hope you enjoy retirement you sure earned it thank you for your Legacy and giving my wife and I the best 18 years of being Steelers fan then any of the other years my wife is a western pa girl from Uniontown my dream someday is to meet u perhaps at an alumni game and get one of your jerseys signed number 7 will never be replaced I also have coolest pic of your kids sitting in front of tv watching you play looking forward to all of your podcasts and seeing you get that gold jacket I’m gonna try to get tickets to go there when you get inducted Steelers nation will overtake Canton more then it has Best of Luck see u in the hall Russell Obenstine
Love, Love, Love this show! Great backset basement. Fantastic convo! And so so much more. I will watch every week, and comment every week. Q. Tell us about how you two are friends. How did this chemistry become so great?
I FINALLY got to see you at the Forever Heinz field in 2017. Bengals. We won. !! Took me 46 years and 21 days to make it there!!!. Im in Pittsburgh often now since our daughter moved there after high school. I shed big huge happy tears when they announced " And your Quarterback...." One of my dreams came true!!! I'm reality I know it was time for you to retire. I cried like a huge baby at your last game at Heinz. I seen the raw emotion from you and knew how hard it was. You'll always be my QB1 and would love to see you sometime in Pittsburgh !!!!
Hey Ben, I was wondering how you felt during the patriots game in 2017 when Jesse James touchdown catch was overturned, and just that whole game in general
Great show! Question for Ben, how did he deal with injuries as far as pain management to be able to get back into the game so quickly and how did he deal with it through the weeks when it wasn't game time with the adrenaline going. What a warrior!
Great show, guys! Question for 7 - How close were you to calling it quits during your elbow rehab. I’m sure faith and pride (the good kind) were drivers in the process… I’m just curious what you were thinking going through it. I know you couldn’t really admit that as the leader of the team, just wondering now if you came close. Thanks for all the great memories!
Ben & Spencer, as a Canadian and huge fan of the Steelers and Ben since I started getting in to football back in 2003 with the looming NHL hockey season lockout, just wanted to say thank you guys for putting this channel and podcast together. It's so great to get to see Ben behind the scenes and get to know a little more about the man behind the #7 we saw every week winning us games on the football field. When I started watching college football I picked out Ben as someone I loved to watch play and I was becoming a Steelers fan cause of my brother and it ended up a match made in heaven when Ben got drafted to the Black & Yellow. I've been to Pittsburgh 4 times and was actually supposed to meet Ben with the help of "Canada Joe" our first time we came down, but never got the chance since the team meeting went late at the Omni Penn that night. Question I would love to hear from Ben now after his illustrious HOF career is what were some of his favourite offensive plays and formations to use. Thanks again Gents! Keep up the awesome work
Ben love the show! You are the man! I met you your rookie year. I was the graphic designer that did The BUS logo for Jerome! I get told all the time that I look just like you. I am a Season ticket holder and a huge fan. By far my favorite Steeler of all time!
Thank you Ben for the time you spent in Pittsburgh, one of my favorite quarterbacks to watch. Can I ask what your relationship was like with Antonio Brown and leveon bell and how it varied from your relationship with Heinz ward and say willie Parker?
Wow this seven channel is really awesome. Ben your the best. I’m from New Castle and grateful for all you do for our community. My son went to Laurel. This channel is great.
I am absolutely loving Retired Ben! The relaxed openness he has now is showing us that other side of him that would only occasionally bubble up in media interviews. The rapport between 7 & Spence is topnotch. Spence does an amazing job of facilitating the conversation. Would love to hear more about his world, too. Seems like a great dude! Or more about your friendship...how ya'll met, etc. The insights on Steelers, football in general, behind the scenes stuff is great from Ben. So much to pull from with his career! My question for Ben would be what was biggest heartbreak moment in his career?
Just a suggestion, but what if you picked a topic from Ben's career to discuss for each episode? Could discuss specific games from specific seasons, Super Bowls...
Loving these episodes. Keep hammering the crocs love, they’ll eventually be a sponsor. Do you guys do bourbon at all? Maybe taste a few on a future episode? Keep it up!👍🏻
I love the show! I just wanted to Say Thank You Ben! You changed my whole life. In 2009 at the AFC Championship I told by friend I was tailgating with, if the Steelers won the Game I was going to go to Tampa and Tailgate at the Super Bowl. What an amazing story, thank you for sharing that...steeler nation forever!
Great story and God bless!
This is the coolest thing I’ve heard, what an awesome story!
That's pretty cool, one of the coolest stories I e heard in a long time, hell I thought Ben and company all but saved me, but that's awsome man
Wow we truly do have the best fans!!
I love hearing Ben talk, he's entertaining as hell, respect to a goat.
Love that you're doing this and staying involved with us fans.
Hope to see Ben on Pat's show to promote this. Great to see these Legendary Athletes move on to new ventures.
i would love that but i don’t think that’ll ever happen lol. pat and the toxic corner have made WAY too many jokes about Ben
@@MoweJo468 I agree with you completely it is not the right setting for Ben 😤
They acted super ignorant towards Big Ben, I like pat but that made me mad the way they did that
@@MorningDew85 they were making jokes, quit being soft
I think he’d go on Rich Eisen or Speak For Yourself
Thank you Ben for staying involved with the fans.
Thank you for answering my question. Couldn’t stop smiling hearing James/Troy stories. 🖤
loving this series...PLEASE invite Pittsburgh Dad on the show..that would be awesome😊 big love to ya big Ben❤

This is the involvement that we’ve never gotten with Ben cause he was busy winning 2 Super Bowls or something like that, this is great.
Thank you Ben! This is actually an incredibly good comment section. Love the show so far.

Yea when a raw josh Allen was drafted into the league his comparison was Big Ben I’m pretty sure.
Spence is Awesome and Perfect for this!!! Thanks for all your Hard Work Spence!
thats who everybody compared him to so yea
This is such an awesome idea for a podcast! Getting to hear the insights from 7 is awesome!
my question would be the details behind the heart speech he gave during the 2005 super bowl run 🐐
I am so glad I came across channel 7!!! Am really enjoying Footbahlin'! Cannot wait to see every episode. Seriously.. Love You Ben! And the more I learn, the more I love!! Got to be ravens game when Terrell Suggs was on his ass. Ben left with a broken nose and the WIN!
I would bet the 2015 wild card game in Cincinnati is his response. Maybe it's a different game though.
Great job guys. It's always good to hear about the behind the scenes stuff as well as your current adventures. thank you for sharing. Ben would you be willing to talk about the police dogs that you support. This has always been impressive and I'm grateful for you doing it!

Great content! It’s incredible to see Ben! Maybe take Fan questions or even have a fan on as a guest!
These shows are so much fun!! Ben, I realize Renegade is played when the D takes the field, but how much does it really pump up the team when it’s played ?
My favorite QB ever!
Loving the podcast. Can someone explain who Spencer is? Good buddies? Family? I gotta know because he’s got the dream job podcasting, watching football, and drinking beers with our #7 legend.
Ben thanks for waving to me at training camp back in 2014 brother!
Good question! I wondered the same. Chemistry is great.
Love the show!!! Yall should live-stream a Steelers game sometime!! Would love to listen to the show while watching!!
Great show guys , just listened to first 2 , love the football talk. Really enjoy listening to athletes then can open up and talk freely.
👏 👏 👏 loving the Channel it’s a must watch ever week for me now. Would be great to have a live stream Q&A
Love, Love, Love this show!
My mew favourite podcast. Very refreshing and upbeat show. Cheers guys from Canada 🇨🇦
Love hearing 7 still so engaged with the team and sharing his insights
Hey Ben, I was wondering how you felt during the patriots game in 2017 when Jesse James touchdown catch was overturned, and just that whole game in general
Another great episode......enjoyed listening to both of you!
Ben - Don’t ever stop doing podcasts! I love this!!! #AlwaysQB1 PS…can you tell Spence it’s black and gold not black and yellow 🖤💛
He does own the afc!
Ben vs brown- 26-3-1
Ben vs Bengals 24-10
Ben vs ravens 19-10
Sense 2012 steelers won 99 games in the AFC.
I love the show it’s like I’m chillin with him so good the co host is good also they work well together
Great show! Question for Ben, how did he deal with injuries as far as pain management to be able to get back into the game so quickly and how did he deal with it through the weeks when it wasn't game time with the adrenaline going. What a warrior!
Question-Without saying any names, did Ben ever have any coaches over the period of his career that he didn’t get along with?
Great show, guys! Question for 7 - How close were you to calling it quits during your elbow rehab. I’m sure faith and pride (the good kind) were drivers in the process… I’m just curious what you were thinking going through it. I know you couldn’t really admit that as the leader of the team, just wondering now if you came close. Thanks for all the great memories!
I will say , been a Steelers fan my whole life and being able to have something like this is amazing! And the beer reviews help so I know what to buy😂
I loved hearing about the Troy and James Harrison stories: two of my favorites
Love this show! Keep it up guys can’t wait for next week’s episode 🖤💛
Oh how I look forward to these podcasts now, would be awesome to be a guest and bring some of my local rare beers 🍻
Troy apologizing to guys after taking their head off is 100% something I could see him doing, and I laughed so hard at that!
How is Ben's relationship with Diontae? Last year 7 and 18 were fun to watch, and their bond seemed so wholesome!
