    Chef, keep up with your diet. Rita is right, no matter how hard she cooked healthy food for you, but you always want the NZ mamoe, and falai moa. Take it easy, you have a young family to look after .

    As a kidney transplant recipient, best thing for renal failure is plant based.

      Avoid table salt, only use Celtic salt

    All the best chef with your diet... keep up the greens and berries and your kindeys will improve...
    I was on dialysis for 8mths in 2014 its not fun at all.

    As a dialysis patient myself..keep that healthy food going because I played around myself..sweating while eating is due to high blood pressure and kidney failure symptoms..try stay away from taro especially banana because it’s high in phosphorus..stay healthy chef we rooting for you

    Animal protein is harder on the kidneys to filter out. Vegan is the way. Good luck chef

    When I go on the program hot chilli peppers, red wine vinegar, black pepper corns ... anything to get some flavor! Avocado I mash em up and make my salad 'dressing' like that. I will go on the program with you in spirit.

    Talofa Lava Family! Just a suggestion Chef, try consuming parsley tea on a daily…very beneficial for your kidneys and it will help to reverse the disease along with of course eating a well balanced healthy diet. Do your research on it. Praying for a speedy recovery🙏🏾🤎

    The Dr. Knows best. But Polynesian really needs to change what they put in there mouth. Cause we love our poly food. But honestly, that's what's killing us. Glad chef is doing better.❤

    looks good. I also was diagnosed with high blood pressure and kidneys are very low. I need to eat salad too more and stay away from sodium. I'm 41 years old. hopefully we all get through this Chef.

    Chef, you are making good changes. Now you need to make sure you manage portion size, no sweets, and WALK 10 MINUTES AFTER EVERY MEAL. Remember, no sugar: no CARBS (anything white like rice, bread etc) fasting for 16 hours between dinner and breakfast: and eat snacks like apple and strawberry and cucumber, also sardines and tuna. No package food. I assure you will lose weight and your diabetes will be under control in 2 weeks..

    Maybe chef can look into Asea water. A lot of poly's already hip to it and it works wonders for the health. Asea water.

    Healthy choices Chef.
    No more I love my favourite food, lamb flaps awesome. Its not healthy. Chef this diet isnt a diet its called healthy choices, no more soda's no junk food. This healthy choice is for the rest of your life, not a week and go back to old ways. Rita stop cooking a buffet vegetables and 1 protein hopefully seafood or chicken steamed no turkey tails either to much fat.
    Chef please take this seriously cause you are the abuser you abuse your body now your body has had enough. And stop your kids bad food choices as well Rice,tuna and noodles is not good. Those boys Pio, Thomas and Tama need to learn young good eating choices. Educate your kids while young healthy choices.
