Love this! Fast Tracks was amazing venue. Even the upstairs room in the Sanctuary if you fancied a nose bleed! Definately the start and peak of what consider the trancey hardcore.... few done before but even tracks like back in business on this is noise is years ahead. Cheers UFO ya always been a crowd pleaser!
What a special time for hardcore, it came back rebranded with a fresh sound, raves started filling up, retailer's started stocking compilations again. 2002 was the come back for sure 😎 It also marked a coming of age for me being old enough to go to the over 18s. Great memories!
What a belter man brings back pure childhood memories :) i'm sure i had the pack with the vhs showcasing some of this set back in the day aswell shame i lost all the good tapes over the years
It was an amazing venue. Although (as was pointed out to me ) this gig was actually in the Fast Track across the car park heh ;) We all still called it "The Sanctuary" though
DJ Jason UFO even the fastracks was wicked though. If I remember it (which is hard to say the least) it didn’t have any balcony or anything, so Occasionally you’d trip over some mash head who was sat on the floor because it was so dark in there 😂 fun times mate. Can only imagine playing there was ridiculously cool
I remember when I was at school and all these tunes were new and fresh out. Absolutely amazing music. Me and about 6 other lads were the only people we knew who liked hardcore. I dont know how we went from great music like this to the shit that's made these days. It really is awful these days

Awesome mate!! :)
I saw DJ UFO live PA at Cardis 2000 in Houston, TX in 2001 when I was 15. The tour was with DJ Inyoung, Da Dredator, and Omar Santana. Amazing times

Such a shame man. But I guess you can never erase the memories :)
2002 was such a good year for UK Hardcore.
That it was man 🙂
Such an awesome gig, I think I still have the VHS for this
Awesome!! I would love a copy of that!! Any way to digitize it and send it to me I wonder?
@@DJUFO ah man I wouldn't know where to start. I don't even have a video player anymore 😭
@@jonbeanz37 never mind mate. :)
@Charlie S how do you do it? I'm interested to know so I can try myself. Thanks.
@Charlie S I've just been looking at some videos. I just need a VCR to usb connector and some software. It's simpler than I thought.
The sanctuary will never be bettered. The atmosphere, the decor, the lights, system! What a loss when ikea stepped in.
