One spring day, a girl named Mai and her dog Chiro were taking a walk in the nearby forest.
Suddenly, they heard a little bird crying from the top of a tree.
Mai and Chiro went towards the sound.
In the tree, there was a little bird that had fallen from its nest.
Mai gently reached out and helped the little bird while Chiro watched quietly.
Mai said, "We need to return the lost bird to its home," and put the bird back in its nest.
But the little bird was still shaking.
Mai got worried and went home to bring some warm milk.
Chiro stayed close to the bird to comfort it. The little bird drank the milk and started to feel better.
The next day, the little bird was flying happily in the sky, showing its thanks by flying around Mai and Chiro.
Mai smiled and said, "I'm glad we helped," and Chiro barked happily.
From that day on, Mai and Chiro always walked in the forest and became friends with the little birds.
