my RNG was pretty spectacular this run and then I decided to throw in the late game... sub 1:40 is very close and hopefully will happen very soon
also game is a little loud sorry, I had trouble hearing my game today and over-corrected lol
FAQ (hopefully I answer everything):
Q: How are you permanently in From the Shadows?
A: If you activate it as you're going into a cutscene, activate it and immediately fast travel to another place in the map, or activate Ghost Blade and immediately travel, FtS will never expire. We use a mix of these ways to setup the glitch throughout the run.
Q: Why do you never have to reload?
A: By quickly swapping to another weapon and back while aiming down sights you can instantly reload your gun. This only works if your weapon had a full magazine when you first swapped to it. This works in both BL3 and Wonderlands
Q: Why are you continuously playing scrolls?
A: If you play one of the prophecies from your "Scrolls" section of your mission log then any dialog that would play gets skipped by said scroll. This saves a lot of time throughout the run and is why its used almost everywhere. Obviously, there are some exceptions but in practice, it skips all dialog lines in-game.

I went graveborn claw bringer, maxed status dmg and crit. Went companions built and ran the corrosive armor that turns all my status to corrosive. Hydra spells too. I just spawn an army of acid spitting minions.

The best way to clear encounters is to tell the dungeonmaster to quit the game.

I just confirmed shadow works in newest update, couldn't get it work teleporting map to map yet but teleporting to teleport still works 100%
And i mean the 100% recast upkeep time
they need to add the ability to change the volume of certain NPC's, the notetaker is making me wanna commit un-alive.
I would love to be able to just mute it, but then I won’t be able to hear if it’s ending so I know when to play another
@@Deceptix oh i understand completely from the speed-running side, you need it as the audio cue, i just had to take a break from the video before i broke something, they really couldn't have picked a more annoying narrator.
Very fast, but how are you in endless invisibility and shoot without reloading, you can write in a comment

Hi deceptix, ive tried doing rocket jumping like you but I just cant even come close to the height or distance you get, and I can't pogo along either. I wish I could learn, ive watched a few videos, if you have any tips I'd appreciate it very much. Is it technique, or just having the right badabooms?
It’ll be hard to get into the intricacies of rocket jumping within a comment but techniques is a huge piece of it. Where you are looking will dictate how the rockets effect your paths, you badaboom parts will also greatly effect things but it’s not that different. Technique is huge when it comes to rocket jumping and you’ll get better with practice.

Bought this game on released played like 4 hours of it and couldn’t stand the over world aspect of it. Is it worth playing through or just stick to replaying BL3 lol

How exactly do you stay in shadow form without the timer going down?
Hacking
There are 3 known ways to perform permanent from the shadows. The main one that is used is by using ghost blade and then traveling to a new map before the blade gets placed. If you then swap to from the shadows it should never expire

new xp route (u only xp until 11.5 with zomboss, not 13) + super good rng this run saved quite a lot
what does any percent mean in speedrunning
beating the game by any means possible, all glitches and skips are allowed (usually) -- its entirely about speed, even if it means skipping large portions of the game to do it.

You just press sprint then slide repeatedly (which for me would be shift, mouse 4)

If you use ghost blade and then before the blade gets placed travel to a new area, from the shadow (and every other timer based action skill) becomes permanent. I do this at 1:47:14

@@BRwasHere there's no fast travel location to dragon lord arena and using the wall thing to go from fearamid to dragon lord arena cancels that Glitch

Drop reloading; weapons in the world have a full mag by default so if you drop the gun and pick it back up it's reloaded. At least that's how it was done in previous borderlands speedruns, could be different for this game
@@bonez994 this was sarcasm but in this game and bl3 if you ads and quickly swap weapons for some reason that reloads it

I've been watching and listening to all your videos and they're insane. Learning a lot and was wondering if you thought wonderlands will get a speedrun mod that cuts dialogue, scenes and guarantees certain drops
There wouldn't be a mod for it in a speedrun. Anytime you can skip dialog it would only allow save quitting in old bl speedruns

I mean, over three times? how about finishing the campaign?
It’s faster to farm Zomboss for more experience than it is to force through the campaign at a lower level
i hate how moxsy is already causing shit to be nerfed into the ground while i can barely get a decent build going :(. dont get me wrong moxsy and his builds are awesome however shit almost always gets nerfed after one of them come out lol. at least especially near the ending of bl3 life time.

Idk what you’re on about, im playing spellshot graveborn with ONLY spells and melee, NO guns. And already at chaos lvl 5 with 0 failed chaos runs and 0 chaos deaths.

I was kinda excited when I first started watching this, but I’m having a hard time believing legit 100% accuracy and not a fan of the shadows exploit.
5:29 im not an expert, but i dont think an aimbot would lead a shot like that.
The game has really hard lock on so if you’re even decent at fps games you shouldn’t miss shots
