I have no Scorpio placement. Sun, mars, Neptune, Venus and Uranus are all in Capricorn. I still pretend to be happy, and go about my day.
Some people can't handle the raw, cold darkness. It's terrifying at first, that veil of darkness where all your deepest fears emerge greater than ever. I feel like they quite literally need to channel that darkness through a "cheery" "happy" filter in order to handle it better. It's alot of power, very very powerful that makes us loose control, so they probably use that veil of "happiness" to ease their darkness rather than facing it and intergrating like us scorpio do.

oh my goodness Meredith, I have to say everything you’ve said is spot on as per usual ❤️ my husband has his Sun, Mercury, and Pluto in Scorpio in the 2nd house. I have never felt so understood in my life by anyone else. There has always been a push and pull of power in our relationship with my 8th house Aries sun. However, no one has ever cared for me at my worst the way he has. Although I do have anxiety and he sometimes doesn’t know how to react to my panic attacks, he cares when it’s needed most. I should also mention his tendency to bring me down. When I point out how he’s made me feel bad, or the subtleties he’s used, he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. He says he doesn’t mean to do that, so I guess it’s just an innate Scorpio quality. He is an excellent communicator (not necessarily about his feelings), very confident in his words, and the funniest person I’ve met. People are drawn to tell him their secrets even if he doesn’t want to hear them. He is very grounded in practicality and is super serious about money. One thing I’ll never understand is that he is so interested in exploring paranormal things, watching ghost hunting shows, etc….but always claims to not believe in anything spiritual, almost like he needs cold hard evidence. He doesn’t mind when I tell him about astrology things and concepts, but it’s very rare that he shows he’s genuinely interested. Maybe it’s a power thing…

You're so right, we don't take dumb risks, but we certainly do take risks especially if it's a battle or challenge we're faced with. Though contrary to what said about being overt I appreciate overt communication more than covert. It gets worse if I sniff you trying to be covert, it might appear like you're trying to be sneaky and manipulative. Yes we don't rush, but we love a person who confidently keeps us wondering, especially when there appears to be more to them than meets the eye. Always thought my independence in love and preferring to be single than beeing in a dysfunctional relationship comes from my aquarius sun in the fifth house. I have a Sagittarius Mercury, Venus, and North Node and Scorpio Sun Conjunct Pluto in the 8th house. In my teenage years I couldn't explain at the time because it was something I had to learn, but basically if I couldn't trust you and if you betrayed me, you were metaphorically (hehe) speaking-- on my shit list. I did have a tendency to go ice cold and still do in some ways where if you did either of those things to me, it's like a switch goes off, suddenly that intense love turns into immense disgust and I no longer want to give you my energy. Although I do love being admired, I don't like it when I am overly fawned over. I like people who are independent, POWERFUL, and know what they want, but at the same time I need this someone to be a safe haven for my secrets and not down play the significance of loyalty. I turn 30 this year 🥰🥰 I think I am maturing, but I have a lot of learning still. Being a Scorpio is fun once you accept the concept of change and transformation. lol

At this point of my life I value my peace of mind and joyful moments that I worked so hard to have more than any relationship. If you cannot be happy for me when I am happy, or you don’t respect me as an individual and trying to covertly manipulate me - you don’t love me, no matter what you say about it. If you attempt to manipulate a person, deep down you disrespect them already.

OMG! Now I understand. My 10th house is in Scorpio. Two years ago I was fired from a job I aced. I took it pretty personal and shook me pretty bad. For the first time in my career I lost. Pretty difficult to digest.

I've been watching these scorpio videos because my son is a scorpio. I feel like no matter what I do It's not enough for him. He never forgets anything bad I might have done or said. He rarely shows any affection and the older he gets the more distant he is becoming. I can't help feeling guilty that he's a scorpio and that I'm the cause of his suffering. My Scorpio is like deep diving the wreck of the Titanic 2 miles down. I also feel like I'm rearranging the deck chairs on it-after it sank.
