That looks like a very bad one. Real shame as Ange was starting to give him more minutes from the bench. Wishing the young lad a speedy recovery.
We saw him and Sarr crying when they left the field. Hate to see players hurt. Ange ball is tough though. Lovely the way all his team mates tried to comfort Veliz.

Fucking soldier, what a lad trying to play on knowing his team have no subs left. Probably made it worse and hope he recovers well! Really hope Sarr's wasnt as bad as it looks and he can still contribute for his country. Gutted for both of them. With any luck we get some players back over the next 2 weeks. Great to see Bentancur start 😊 COYS
Gio has always been there for Veliz, ever since he signed in the summer! Even now, Gio has got Veliz' back by helping him off....looks like Lolo has his back too!

I'm beginning to wonder about the root cause ,if there is one , on all these injuries,is it freakish bad luck ? Is it a by product of how we play ? The physios not spotting problems making em worse ? Not properly warming up pre game or something else ,it's bizarre

Did we at least subbed anyone in yet ??? I feel like we're 10 vs 11 here...
Basically we used up all our subs and if that happens all you can do is take the player off and not replace them, meaning we were playing with 10 players.

It has to be something that we are doing in training or warm ups maybe they need to change it because we can't carry on like this every game 1 or 2 are coming off injured and it not from tackles
Sarr is definitely falls in that category but Veliz was injured through contact with a Bournemouth defender on a shot attempt. Not really anything you can do about that unfortunately. Wish they had recognized that he was hurting and taken him off earlier though because he was clearly limping for minutes before they actually got him off. Credit to him for trying to push through as well.
These lads are young and Postecoglou has them fired up. It explains both the injury rate and disciplinary issues. I'm sure they will settle down but there is much excitement in the Club these days. I'm an armchair fan and nearly pulled a hamstring when Sonny scored. Lol

@@cbaileyware4650 mate I've still got the scares so don't tell me waffle when I played you had to look after yourself so you learned how to tackle ,jump out of tackles and jump into tackles and in over 20 years never limped off but got carried off with a clash with my own keeper also.i played up.til.i was.43 but you won't tell me everything is OK.in training when we keep getting the same injuries
