When crafting things in the table, you also produce waste, which takes up substance space. Emptying the trash bins removes the waste + frees up that substance space (you can see the amount of waste by looking at the trash can under the substance storage. Example: At 35:56 that hideout has 500g of waste.

My guess is potassium hydroxide is a later game recipe for amp and you should use one of the other two recipes to make your amp instead. Acetone and ethanol are available at stores or from Marcus. Marcus sells you the main ingredient for all three of the amp recipes. I haven’t figured out yet how to get the chemistry table recipe to make that ingredient yet. You can make acetic acid from vinegar at the chemistry table but it produces water that fills up your storage.
Your dealers are moaning because: 1. They don't have enough of a product. I think they set the cap at a min of 50g for some reason. I hope they will lower it. 2. You don't gave them the drugs who are in demand of the specific town. You can check that by your influencers or on your boss desk. I heard that potassium needs to be made, and you can do that later in the game. So i think you waste a lot of time searching for it haha. Last thing don't use (if u are planning to do) the chemical table to make acid out of vinegar, because it gives water as a byproduct and you can't get rid of the water out of your substance storage yet. Unless you want your hideout stocked full of water haha.
