I’ll be a garden in Manhattan to the girls in my dance class. We have two new girls this year and some of the girls are intentionally mean and rude to them and give them backhanded compliments. The girls talk about the new girls behind their backs. I’m trying to be a light in the darkness to the new girls because one other girl is being kinda nice to them. The big problem is the girls who are being mean and giving backhanded compliments are Christian’s. I spent 3 hours last night making handwritten valentines cards and little prayers for them because as a Christian I am called to be different and to love those who no one else loves. This song is one of my favorites by you because I’m trying to be all of the things you mentioned in the chorus.
